Dr. Anne Nanson (retired Dentist) passed away on Wednesday, 31st December 2025 at the Cumberland Infirmary. A very much loved mum of Victoria and David. An adored and devoted Granny of Oscar, Leo and Lily and dearest mother in law of Nadim. Also a dearest sister, sister in law, aunt, niece and cousin.
Anne will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.
Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 13th February at 11am.
Family flowers only by request, there will be a donation opportunity at the service in memory of Anne.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of
Barbara Robinson, of Denton Holme. Who passed away at the Cumberland Infirmary on Thursday 25th December 2025, aged 68 years. Barbara was much loved by Stuart, Andrea and Phil. A devoted nana to Ellie, Adam, Matthew and Daniel. A cherished mother in law to Mark and Vicki. She was a dear sister to Margaret, Linda, Brian and David. Also a loving auntie and good friend to many.
Barbara will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 16th January at 1pm.
Family flowers only by request, donations in memory of Barbara will go towards the continued work of the Eden Valley Hospice.

Suddenly at his home on Monday 8th December 2025. Alex aged 40 years. A loving son of Mike and Joan, a treasured daddy to Robyn, a dear brother of Steven and a much loved friend to many. Alex will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Peacefully, after a courageous struggle with vascular dementia, at The Cumberland Infirmary on Tuesday 2nd December 2025. Frankie aged 80 Years. Beloved husband and soulmate of Shirley, dearly loved dad and stepdad. Treasured grandad, a loving great-grandad, brother, uncle and friend to many. Frankie will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Passed away peacefully at Carlisle Infirmary on Wednesday 26th November 2025.
Eric aged 83 years. He will be greatly missed by his dearly loved family and friends.
