Suddenly at her home on Thursday 19th February 2026. Alison aged 58 years. A loving and much loved mam, daughter, nana, sister and a truly loved friend to many.

Gladys Anne Todhunter
Passed away peacefully on Saturday 14th February 2026 at the Cumberland Infirmary. Gladys aged 80 years. Much loved wife of the late David, loving mam of Linda and Paul. Dearest mother-in-law of David, also a cherished grandma of Lauryn, Lewis and Mia.
Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday 5th March at 2:20pm.
Family flowers only by request. There will be a donation opportunity at the service in memory of Gladys.

We had the honour of leading 2 angel baby services this week. There are no words that could ever feel enough at times like these, but it is a privilege to care for the smallest, most precious lives and to support their families with tenderness, dignity and love. Our thoughts are with those who are carrying unimaginable loss and we are grateful to have been trusted during such a deeply personal and heartbreaking time.

Catherine Swatts

Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday 9th February 2026. Cathy aged 91 years.
Sadly missed by all her dearest family and many friends.
Requiem Mass to be held at St. Bede's Church, Wigton Road on Wednesday 25th February at 10:45am followed by a private cremation.

Peacefully at the Eden Valley Hospice with her girls by her side on Thursday 12th February 2026. Irene aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Colin, much loved mam of Lisa and Lynne, treasured Nana Rene of Amy, Lucy and Joe. Loved mother-in-law of Mike and Mark, dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie and a friend to many. Irene will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Tuesday 3rd March at 1:40pm. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Irene will go to Eden Valley Hospice.

Peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on Saturday 7th February 2026 after an illness bravely borne with her family by her side. Carole aged 64 years. Much loved wife of Paul, loving and devoted mam of Glen, dearly loved sister of Keith, a treasured nanny of Bryony and Rory. A dear auntie, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and a friend to many. Carole will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

CONNOR George
Peacefully at his home on Thursday 29th January 2026. After a long illness fought with courage and fortitude, George aged 68 years. Soulmate, best friend and a much loved husband of Denise. A hero to, and devoted loving dad of Jonathan and Sara. Also an idolised grandad of Myla and Jorgie. A wonderful brother, brother-in-law, uncle, father-in-law and friend to many.
George will be greatly missed by his fur pup Poppy and reunited with the late Bella and Cindy.
Funeral Service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Tuesday 17th February at 1pm. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory of George will go to the Collette Nurses.

Willie will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.
