The time of year is upon us when dark cold nights/windy/wet days may upset our joints -

Some ideas to keep blood flow going :-

Come home tired after long day ? Try soaking your feet with Epsom salts - 2 small cups in a basin of warm/hot water footbath for 10 minute soak - calms the nervous system and warms whole body very quickly to enable relaxation

Stopping in more due to dark nights ? Perhaps try a Rebounder trampoline for the home - check out this excellent lymphatic drainage exercise to keep joints healthy - 5 mins per day is all you need - follow you tube for tips on use

Sitting too long ? Red light or infra red light therapy for back/hips/legs/feet - purchase online - do your own research - lots of info online and reviews

We are excited to invite parents, grandparents, carers and adults in the wider community to a breathing workshop. The focus is to develop good breathing techniques and habits in order to improve health and wellbeing. It will be delivered by Dr Venetia Young, a retired GP who has vast experience and a passion for improving breathing habits. Research suggests there are many benefits of improving breathing techniques and people can see improvements with conditions such as asthma, high blood-pressure, insomnia, sleep apnea and anxiety. As well as improving our own breathing habits, Dr Young aims to help us adults pass on techniques to our children, in order to improve their health and well-being too.

This is Clift Hill Longtown Carlisle where Roland the owner and Josie the Hen Party organiser allowed myself and a beauty therapist friend to spend the day working recently…
We had four hours to pamper a group of very interesting ladies from Scotland who were from all walks of life
My job was deep tissue massage and Reiki - we laughed we joked and the day passed so quickly
The girls paid £200 for four hours of my treatments added to the end of their party weekend
