Remember Betty from last week?
Here’s a little time lapse of her session🩷

🌼 Luna 🌼
Luna hasn’t been coming to us for long but she is smashing her hydrotherapy sessions💪🏼 unfortunately, she has hip dysplasia 💔
What is hip dysplasia?
Hip dysplasia is where the hip joint is not formed properly, and the articulating bones rub and grind instead of sliding smoothly.
This causes the joint to deteriorate and lose its function.
There can be several factors that can cause this disease; genetics as it is hereditary, excessive growth rate, types of exercise, over excising when young, poor nutrition.
The symptoms include; decreased activity, decreased range of motion of the joint, lameness, reluctant movement, loss of muscle mass, pain, stiffness, clicking of the hip joint.
Hydrotherapy can help your dog build muscles around the hips in order to support the joint. It is a non-weight bearing exercise so your dog will feel no pain in the water and it allows your dog to increase their range of motion for the hip joint!
Alongside hydrotherapy, joint supplements and managing your dogs diet will also help!!
Contact us today if you think hydrotherapy will help your dog!
A very belated happy birthday to this gorgeous, gentle giant, Flo🩷
Flo is one of the sweetest girls ever and absolutely loves her swimming🥰 however she’s not had the best of luck👎🏼 she had one hip replacement back in 2023 and then the other one last year! After lots of time and patience we have finally gotten through it💪🏼 keep being your beautiful self miss Flo💗

🩷 Betty 🩷
Think someone is tired after her swimming and doesn’t want to let go of the toy🤣
It was so nice to have Betty back in the pool the other week after some time off following surgery👎🏼
We must say she had the best time being back and most definitely made up for lost time🥹
Betty comes to us for fun, as an alternative form of exercise than going for a walk. Swimming is a tiring exercise, both physically and mentally 🐶
It’s a perfect alternative exercise in these cold and wet months too‼️
How cute is Romeo?🥰
It was lovely to have this little man pop in and say hello to us👋🏻
Romeo belongs to a previous client of ours and it was nice to catch up and talk about the memories we shared with their beloved Harvey💙
We can’t wait to give Romeo some water confidence sessions soon and hopefully you’ll be a water baby just like your big brother was🐶💙

🤪 tongue out Tuesday 🤪
Here’s Rolo with the longest tongue🤣🤣
Rolo started coming to us with a forelimb lameness and a diagnosis of elbow dysplasia from the vet’s💔
He was a bit unsure of swimming to start and very unsure of the flooring in the pool room but wow doesn’t he love it now!! He cannot get in the pool quick enough🤣🐶
Rolo’s lameness has reduced and is hardly noticeable now and we are so proud and pleased with how he is doing 💪🏼 keep smashing it 💪🏼
