Yellow weather warning – rain and strong winds

The met office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain and strong winds effecting parts of Carmarthenshire until Saturday morning.

Please take care and be mindful of changing conditions, particularly when travelling.

Our crews have been out throughout the day, gritting primary and secondary routes as well as filling grit bins, hand gritting certain areas and clearing more rural routes. Crews will also be out gritting some routes later tonight due to low road surface temperatures, once the forecasted rain has passed.
