You can now contact us on-line to request a GP appointment.
You can do this Mon-Fri 8am-6.30pm.
If you struggle to use this system you can still call us but please do try it via www.ashtreessurgery.co.uk , https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/P81029 or the NHS app.
This new system will help us:
✔️provide enhanced access to care from our team,
✔️ensure you receive the most appropriate care, and
✔️reduce telephone waiting times by offering easier ways to contact the surgery.
If you do not have access to a smartphone or computer, you can still speak to a Patient Advisor on the phone or at reception.
📱How to Submit a Medical or Administrative Request Online :
Using the NHS App download and open the NHS App, then go to 'Services'.
Choose the type of request you need:
Medical request, or Administrative request (e.g. fit notes, test results).
The app will guide you through a simple process to give us the information we need about your medical issue - for you or someone you care for.
Important: Admin request replies can take up to 2 working days to process. Please do not submit any medical queries via the admin section, as it is not monitored as quickly by clinical staff.
An Ash Trees Surgery GP will review your medical request that day.
For a problem that we feel needs dealing with quickly, you will receive a same-day response.
For less urgent issues, we will message you and let you know what the next steps are.
Sometimes a GP appointment is not needed, and our team may give you appropriate advice or an appointment with another member of our team.
