🟢Going to your local pharmacy offers an easy and convenient way to get clinical advice on minor health concerns - you don't need an appointment and you can be seen in a private consultation room.

💊Your local pharmacist can now supply medicines for seven conditions, if appropriate, without the need for a GP appointment or prescription.
✔Sinusitis (for those aged 12 years and over)
✔Sore throat (for those aged 5 years and over)
✔Earache (for those aged between 1 and 17 years old)
✔Infected insect bite(for those aged 1 year and over)
✔Impetigo (for those aged 1 year and over)
✔Shingles (for those aged over 18 years old
✔Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) (for women aged 16-64)

📣In line will all practices within the Morecambe Bay area Ash Trees Surgery will be closed from 1pm today, this is for essential staff training for Clinicians and Admin staff.

🤒If you require medical assistance whilst we are closed please call 111 who will be able to assist you.

🏥The Urgent treatment centres will still be open, please contact 111 to arrange an appointment.
👁 If you are suffering from any eye conditions, find a local Opticians who offer Community eye care. You don’t need to be registered with the opticians, just with a GP. They have emergency on the day appointments for this.
🦷 Emergency dentist please contact them on 0300 1234 010
💻Visit the NHS website for helpful information or access advice via the NHS app.
🟢Visit your local Pharmacy who can give expert advice on many minor conditions.

How to access the Contact your GP about a health problem via the NHS app

➡️Sign in to your NHS app
➡️At the bottom of the screen select services
➡️Then select Contact your GP about a health problem
➡️You will then be asked to confirm it is Ash Trees Surgery you are contacting
➡️Confirm who it is filling on the form and date of birth
➡️You will be asked to confirm it is not an emergency and that 999 would be more appropriate
➡️You will then be asked to fill in a form describing the problem, how long it has been going on for, have you tried anything to help etc.
➡️Confirm the contact number you wish us to contact you on
➡️You will then receive a confirmation of request submitted and a reference number
