It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of Nora O’Boyle (NΓ©e Caulfield), 43 Warren Park, Waterfoot. Nora passed away peacefully at home on 21st April 2026, may she rest in peace.

Dearly beloved wife of James (Seamus) and loving mother of Stephen and Jeff. Dear mother-in-law of Elaine and Carolyn. Devoted granny to Lauren and Erica Rose. Dear sister of Stella (Mc Call) and the late Elizabeth (Mc Allister), Marjorie (Mc Neill), Thomas (Caulfield), Veronica (O'Neill) and Brigeen.

Nora's wake will commence on Friday, from 2pm through until 9pm; her funeral will leave her late residence on Saturday at 10.40am to St. Patrick's and St. Brigid's Church for 11.00am Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, family and family circle. St Martin pray for her.

It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of Gertie Mc Kay (NΓ©e Martin) 167 Bay Road, Carnlough; formerly of Cloughmills. Gertie passed away peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving husband and family on 7th April 2026.

Dearly beloved wife of Hugh and loving mother of Fiona (Mc Camphill), Henry, Moira (McKay/Mc Auley), Hugh Martin Mc Kay, and David. Dear mother-in-law of Niall, Jackie, Padraig, Nicola and Marie. Devoted granny of 14 grandchildren.
Daughter of the late David and Mary Martin, sister of Margaret Taggart, Geraldine Dixon, Bernadette Gray and David Martin, and of the late Isobel Carey, Anna O’Kane, Rosemarie Martin, Joe Martin and her late twin (Foncie) Alphonsus.

Gertie’s funeral will leave her late residence on Saturday at 11.30am to St. John The Evangelist Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House private until Friday. Visitors welcome on Friday from 2pm until 8pm.

It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of Lucia (Cia) Atcheson, 8 Whitehill Road, Carnlough, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 28th March 2026, may she rest in peace.

Dear daughter of the late Robert and Maureen, beloved partner of Joe, loving mother of Niall & wife Bronagh, Rebecca and Justine, devoted grandmother of Curtis, Eimhear, Enda, Fionn, Kaileigh and Fiadh. Much loved sister of Regina (Ward), Fidelma, Fearghal, Mel and Eunan, dear sister-in-law of Paddy, Linda and Susie, and a very dear aunt.

Lucia’s funeral will leave her late residence on Wednesday 1st April at 11.40 am to St John the Evangelist Calvary Cemetery for committal at 12 noon.

It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of Pat Close, Carnlough, who passed away peacefully at home with his family on 28th March 2026, may he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Monica, much loved daddy of Francis (BrΓ­d), MΓ‘ive, Pat (Margaret), Martin (Connie), Gerarda, SΓ©an (Catriona), and Declan (Ita). Loving Granda Pat to Liam, Vivian, Aoife, Anthony and Cliona. Dear brother of Tom, Evelyn (Shields) and the late Robert and Kay (Devlin).

Pat will repose at his daughter Gerarda’s residence, 42 The Bayfields, Carnlough.

Pat’s funeral will leave his home residence, 26 Croft Road, on Tuesday at 11.20am to St. John the Evangelist Church, Carnlough, for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces, nephews and his entire family circle.

Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in You. Immaculate heart of Mary pray for him.

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Marie Higgins (NΓ©e Duffin), 21 Knockanully Road, Martinstown. Marie passed away peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on 26th March, 2026, may she rest in peace.

Dearly beloved wife of the late John Francis (Sean) and loving mother of Anne, Roisin (Gillan) and husband Damian, Donal and wife Sharon, Orlaith (Mc Kenna) and husband Padraic, Richard and wife Vivien, Shauna (Hynds) and husband Ian, Ciaran and wife Linda, Frances (Duffin) and husband Shane and the late Mary (Mc Mullan) and husband Paul, both deceased. Devoted grandmother of 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Marie's funeral will leave her late residence on Sunday at 12.10 pm to St Patrick's Church, Crebilly, for 1.00 pm Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Mary Queen of Peace cemetery, Glenravel.
