Churchfields Care Home New residents welcome. Churchfields is situated at the heart of the beautiful village of Cassington in West Oxfordshire.

Our Outstanding CQC rated home in Cassington offers residential, nursing and dementia care and we welcome enquiries for day care and respite stays. Our family owned home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for older people, provided in a friendly, warm and loving environment. Life at Churchfields is centred on our residents, but there are many people who contribute to making life at the home so unique and family, friends and the local community are included in daily life wherever possible. All of our staff members are carefully selected for their sense of compassion, commitment and desire to work as part of a professional care team. With high staffing levels at all times, Churchfields offers a safe, comfortable and happy environment, whilst ensuring an excellent level of personal care that is carried out with particular attention to privacy and dignity. Both respite and convalescence care are offered, as well as long-term care, and interested parties are welcome to visit the home at their convenience.

Our toddler group activity morning at Churchfields Care Home was a beautiful reminder of the magic that happens when generations come together. Laughter was shared, stories were sparked, and simple moments turned into meaningful memories.

Intergenerational activities like these don’t just brighten a day—they build bonds, nurture empathy, and bring a sense of belonging to both our residents and little visitors alike.

Because when we see the world through the eyes of a child, we’re reminded that connection is at the heart of everything we do 💛

A special thank you to our wonderful resident Jean for making World Book Day so meaningful for everyone. 📖

Jean kindly went around to residents who were in their rooms, inviting them to join in the celebrations so no one felt left out. She spent time sitting with them and reading Winnie the Pooh, bringing lots of smiles and warmth to their day.

It was a truly lovely gesture that brightened many faces. Thank you, Jean, for sharing your kindness and love of stories with us all. 😊
