Last week’s Navigating Pressure Ulcer Litigation workshop in Dublin was a completely sold‑out event - and the energy in the room showed exactly why. ⚡

Bringing together clinicians across Ireland, the day explored the realities of pressure ulcer litigation, the themes that lead to cases reaching coroner’s court, and the system-level changes that can prevent avoidable harm. ⚖️

Last week we had the pleasure to attend the conference: Preventing Avoidable Deconditioning 🧡

EndPJparalysis, founded by Professor Brian Dolan, highlights how staying in bed longer than needed can slow down recovery - and why getting patients up, dressed and moving is incredibly important to prevent deconditioning. 🚶‍♀️

For us at Medstrom, this connects so closely with what we champion every day. It was amazing to join professionals from across the UK, hear from brilliant speakers, learn more about spotting early signs of deconditioning, and the practical steps trusts can take to build movement into everyday care.
