Job Purpose:
To provide the highest levels of patient care in every task that is undertaken. The role is to support the Optician in exceeding patient expectations and to proactively deliver tasks that drive significant business value.

Main duties will include:
· Booking appointments using practice management systems
· Reception duties and practice diary management
· Performing pre-screening tests
· Administrative work as required
· Delivering celebrity service and aftercare to each patient
· Building a strong knowledge of all products and services provided

Witnessing the entire manufacturing process of Blackfin frames has been such a great experience.

True craftsmanship, with each frame being handled over 100 times. The production areas have a very slow paced and calm vibe, with each skilled worker taking their time and perfecting their art, checking the product quality at every single step.

Watch this space for some videos of the manufacturing. Not a conveyer belt in sight!

🍰 Our OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) machine takes a 3D retinal scan, like cutting in to a cake and seeing the layers instead of just the frosting on top

👁 Our Optomap ultrawide camera can image up to 82% of your retina, compared to only 15% with traditional NHS imaging.
