CTS are looking for a Paramedic Educator to join our small but very friendly team on an ad-hoc basis. This is to train our existing CPD course titles and help develop ideas into creating new and exciting titles.
We are especially interested if you have in-depth knowledge on ECGs, Prehospital Maternity, Trauma and/or Palliative Care.
The usual teaching/IQA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
We pay a very competitive training rate and pay on receipt of invoice.
We are a fun informal team and usually work out of our modern, well equipped training room in the centre of Castleford.
In the first instance please drop us a message for an informal chat.

Castleford Training Solutions (CTS) provides first-class training solutions to suit all your needs, from First Aid and FREC 3 to Mental Health and Adult Social Care

The last month or so we have been busy preparing our new premises as well as continuing to deliver courses, and although there is still some work to be done, we are so pleased with the results so far. Being in the town centre of Castleford has made such a difference to us already and we are looking forward to bigger and better things next year

A couple of courses we have coming up in the not too distant future we have some spaces left on. - Both led by a University Lecturing Paramedic.
Understanding Catastrophic Bleed - 11th October 2025
This course covers all the theory about catastrophic Bleed and Chest Injuries, the bodies ability to clot blood and the effects that medication has on this. Followed by triage using the TST triage tool. It is followed by in-depth scenarios that use very realistic simulations on real life casualties using flowing fake blood giving the learner the chance to use a TST triage pack and fix the injuries found, these range from stabbings, gunshot wounds, head injuries, entrapment injuries and amputation as well as explosion and blast injuries.
Understanding Life-Saving Medication - 15th November 2025
Whether you hold a SALM qualification and want a refresher or just have an interest in Life-Saving Medication, this one day course covers the drugs, the doses, the routes of entry and the effects and documentation of the drugs. The practicals and demonstrations allow you to actually draw up the drugs and administer it the correct way.
