A busy week of litter picking :
Tuesday - Train station & subway / Wilkos carpark/ Aire & Calder navigation.
Thursday - lock lane / Castleford lock .

This week all areas covered were at the request of the community.
Tuesday - Team 1 : Lisheen avenue/ Leeds road rec. Team 2 : Car park / bushes behind the old Wilkos.
Thursday - Team 1: Half acres. Team 2: lock lane estate .
Please keep supplying us with your suggestions & requests.

Tuesday - 2 teams ; The River & Castleford Park junior field. Thursday - 2 teams ; Robin Hood street & Half acres.
Thank you to and Joseph Sunderland for Castleford Central & Glasshoughton for their kind gift of £250 to buy our lads PPE & weatherproof equipment to wear on our litter picks .

Tuesday we were down the river ( accompanied by The Yorkshire post ) , Thursday we had work still to do down Wheldon road & over near Castleford park junior . The weather has been better , and the boys have appreciated all the kind words people have exchanged with them while out in the community.

More work done this week down by Wheldon road & the river , and as requested by a member of the community ( and after receiving permission from Castleford academy) we have started tidying up the area, ginnel & steps by the side of Castleford Park junior. All your requests & suggestions are deeply appreciated.
