A wee reminder that if you have been asked for a deposit to secure a future booking then this needs to be made otherwise the booking cannot be kept for you 😔

I have contacted clients that are left to do so and followed up with a reminder msg, if then after another 48 hours deposit isn't made and/or i still haven't heard from you then your appointment has possibly been offered out as i have people waiting 🙈

I cannot hold appointments any longer, my time is as valuable as everyone elses. If you were to book through a booking system this would be the case anyway but i AM the 'booking system' and i am more than fair and fully respectful of my clients time so i just ask for the same in return 🫡

If you have a future appointment where a deposit has been asked for and have not paid then please check in with me before making the journey as the space may have been re allocated now 😴

I am LOVING skin these days 😍

This is me so please excuse the dodgy photo angle 😂

This is after just 2 sessions of our new skin peels 🙌

Winter takes its toll on our skin, mine was dry, dull, congested (impurities from either intake, environmental factors, hormonal factors) dehydrated with wind and low temperatures, and then the dreaded STRESS FACTOR kicked in too 😩

So i waited until my skin wasn't 'open' or active and treated it with thebest products 🤌

Here we have a positive aspiration 😳

What does that mean??

When injecting even in a 'safe' area we do checks (sometimes classed as unnecessary checks) but i still do it. Aspiration is when we gently pull back on the syringe plunger to check before injecting, and this positive aspiration technically shouldn't have happened superficially, but it did, so we don't inject, we remove and re place. Client was left with no marking, no issues BECAUSE prevention not intervention

We know our anatomy, we know our placement and we know our techniques BUT we still take up most precaution

Wether it be helping with facial imbalances, skin issues, body disfunction. My passion is THE BODY, as a WHOLE

Here we have a client with a chin indent, its always bothered her, she said she didn't want and couldn't afford surgery but she had no confidence because of it

Peels and microneedling

These are SO popular now

Skin peels are not what they used to be. They are not harsh, you don't 'burn' you don't even necessarily 'peel' they are non invasive with little to no downtime.

What we did with this client is

Double cleanse (so no build up)
Exfoliate (takes off superficial debris)
Dermaplane (removes dry skin cells etc)
Skin peel (breaks down the outer skin barrier to encourage old skin to come off and regenerate new skin. Also to open the skin barrier so that the MN serum penetrates deeper getting better results)
Microneedled with a hydration serum (deeper and stronger administration of product)
Collagen balm
Cbd & aloe Vera soothing mask
Aftercare hydration cream (and some to apply at home)

Redness is gone within an hour or so
Skin is instantly plumper, brighter,better hydrated and glowing

As you can see fine lines around the mouth area, chin, neck.....everywhere is already greatly improved with just one session

Back to my roots 🫡💉🩹

I was asked by a client to look at a previous injury. They had an accident results in severing their arm almost through to the bone 🤕

They had dissolvable internal stitches and then superficial wound closer sutures on the outer skin.
Once removed they were still concerned as they could see the blue, but was assured they were all out. 7 months later the scar is healed in most places but not healing properly throughout and still oozing fluid at times, raised and itchy

When skin mends from trauma the fibres knit back together in a firmer and tighter complex resulting in what we call 'scar tissue' so unfortunately it does make it harder to redo the procedure as now things are embedded

We have used localised anaesthetic, injected to the areas needed so that the client is as comfortable as possible, sterile scalpel to make an entry point and remove.

We thought these looked 2-3ml but they were around 10-20ml

Skin sealant and dressing applied and these will now start to heal beautifully 🤌

I do miss doing 'work' like this at times
