Todays client requested some K Taping on her knee before she climbs Snowdon this week. K tape is used to reduce pain and swelling as it gently encourages blood and lymph fluid to the area, in order to promote healing and allow the athlete to continue with activity.

So yesterday, this happened…..
After working so hard to try and achieve distinction in my body massage course, I narrowly missed it and I’ll admit I was a little disappointed.
However, I jumped straight into my sports massage course and finally achieved my goal!
So so proud of myself, and now I’m ready to keep building my knowledge.

Yesterday was my last face to face lecture for my sports massage course. Now it’s time to prep for the exams and finish off coursework….. wish me luck!

Todays course was taping and strapping where we learnt how to support and immobilise a joint, as well as how to apply K Tape.

Such an interesting subject, I found it fascinating how much difference it made. We all absolutely smashed it, and had a wicked day in the process.

I worked SO hard for this. What I thought would be a nice little course alongside my job and family, ended up being one of the more difficult things I have attempted to do.
