So many rich & life affirming lessons are offered here at Spring Equinox, at this point of balance. I want to share one that I keep coming back to.

Balance is not a one time thing.

There’s often so much shame attached in not having the right balance.

Working too hard or playing too hard. Focusing on the material more than the spiritual.
Finding some ideal point of consistency between points.

But we don’t find a balance point and then never have to find it again.

Like standing on one leg, we are in a constant negotiation, a wobble or an oscillation, to keep finding our balance point, fresh in each new moment.

And to keep doing that consciously, requires slowing down and attuning to self as frequently as feels doable, even if for a moment.

This is a little reminder to find a moment to feel the sun on your face, or the wind in your hair, or whatever small moment sparks even the tiniest sense of gratitude for being alive ✨

Calm isn’t always regulation.
�Sometimes it’s your nervous system doing its best to protect you — by shutting things down or holding everything tightly in place.

And you’re not the only one who feels this.

So many people are walking around looking “fine” while feeling disconnected underneath.

What we actually need isn’t more calm.�It’s more capacity —to feel, to stay, to be with ourselves without overwhelm.

That’s something we build in practice. And in community.
