Feodor’s Breathing Journey is a live, immersive Sunday evening experience at SPACE. This is not meditation, but a structured breathing journey guided in real time. The music sets the container. The rhythm evolves. The guidance is delivered live in the room. Participants lie down and follow the breath as it unfolds. This is not aggressive breath work. There is no forcing, no rapid hyperventilation, no emotional intensity pushed onto the group. The pacing is controlled and progressive. The aim is deep physiological relaxation through precise modulation of breathing patterns.
The journey combines four modalities layered deliberately: coherent breathing to stabilise rhythm and settle the nervous system; Tibetan rhythmic breathing to deepen internal awareness; and two original methods designed to reduce mental noise and guide the body into sustained calm. Each phase prepares the next. The structure is intentional. It is suitable for both complete beginners and experienced practitioners. No prior training is required. The rhythms are guided clearly. The experience is accessible, universal, and practical. The session supports:

– reduction of anxiety and accumulated weekly stress
– improved sleep quality
– release of physical and mental tension
– clearer thinking
– emotional reset before the new week

There are no age restrictions. No complex rules. Participants are given time to remain with themselves at depth, without pressure to perform or achieve. The function is simple: recalibrate the system before Monday.

This course is suitable for beginners and anyone wishing to revisit the fundamental principles of yoga. You will learn how to practise safely and effectively as we start with the basics, break down key poses and simple sequences and build on the practice week-by-week. The class size will be limited, with time for questions and discussion at the end of each session and a course booklet with simple suggestions for practising at home.
• Understand how to practise key poses with safe and healthy alignment
• Deepen awareness of the body and the connection between body, mind and breath
• Learn how to modify poses to suit your individual requirements
• Explore breathing exercises and techniques to promote deep relaxation

The course will provide a solid foundation to prepare students for joining any beginners or general level class and will hopefully be just the start of your yoga journey.

In practical and engaging class John will share with you over a decade of study and self-practice. Over the hour you will be guided through 4-5 breathing techniques, including ‘Wim Hof’ and traditional ‘Pranayama’. These techniques have been proven to calm the nervous system and, when practiced with regularity, can lead to a long-term improvement in mood and mental/physical wellbeing. We will finish with a calming meditation, and there will be space for questions at the end.

WHAT:
5-D Synergy Flow workshops serve as the foundation for Simon’s unique approach to intelligent yoga and movement. This 3-Day Brighton introduction workshop is designed as a clear entry point into Simon Borg-Olivier’s work, especially for those who have never practised with him before.

Although this is an introduction workshop, it is rich in content and depth. It is not a “beginner-only” session, nor a light overview. Participants are introduced to core ideas that underpin Simon’s entire teaching and put them into practice.

The workshop is accessible to practitioners of all levels from yoga and movement teachers, to therapists or anyone curious about how to move with less effort and more internal connection. Each session provides clear theory, practical application, and space for personal exploration within the 5-D Synergy framework.

SCHEDULE:
First part of the day will focus on a deeply meditative practice combining fluid movement of the spine, joints and the core. These sessions are designed to calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and cultivate internal awareness through efficient, low-effort movement. This is the 5-D Flow Method in action.

Second part of the day will explore traditional yoga forms — including the essence of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and kriyā — through the Yoga Synergy System. Here, the yogic practices are unpacked and integrated using principles of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and therapeutic movement, helping you understand why the practices work and how to apply them more effectively and safely.

Throughout the day, practical theory is woven directly into movement, bridging embodied experience with functional understanding.

In his own words:

Christian’s journey into yoga and meditation began after transforming his own life from corporate burnout into mindful, heart-centred living. He teaches an integrated practice that weaves intentional movement, breathwork, and Zen meditation — helping students release tension, regulate the nervous system, and return to the present moment with clarity and ease.

His classes are rooted in simplicity and embodied awareness, drawing from Zen Buddhist mindfulness, traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, and pranayama practices to support students of all levels in finding balance both on and off the mat. Christian also co-founded Casa de Cura, an off-grid retreat space in the mountains of southern Portugal, where he leads workshops and retreats dedicated to healing, slowness, and deep listening. His warm, inclusive style invites practitioners to deepen their connection with body and breath, creating space for insight, calm, and grounded presence. Expect flowing movement and intentional breath weaved around a meditative mindset in his classes.
