We’re currently running a 6-week childhood immunisation campaign to help increase uptake and protect our children against serious illnesses.

Vaccines are safe, effective and offered free on the NHS. They protect against infections such as measles, meningitis, whooping cough and more.

If your child has missed a vaccine or you’re unsure whether they’re up to date, please contact the practice — we’re happy to help you catch up. 💙

Protecting your child also helps protect our wider community.

Endometriosis can cause debilitating pain, heavy periods and fatigue that affect work, relationships and day-to-day life.

If your symptoms are worsening, not improving with treatment, or impacting your life — please book an appointment with your GP. You deserve to be listened to and supported. 💙

What is an STI?
A sexually transmitted infection (STI) is passed through sexual contact. Many STIs don’t cause symptoms, so you might not know you have one — but they can still be passed on and affect your health if left untreated.

Getting checked is easy, free and confidential.
You can:
✔ Visit a local sexual health clinic, including the Florey Clinic and community clinics
✔ Use walk-in or bookable appointments
✔ Order a free STI testing kit online and test at home

You can find your nearest sexual health service using the NHS website:

Why testing matters
Regular testing helps protect your health and your partners. Early detection means treatment is usually simple and effective — especially for infections like chlamydia, which is most common in people aged 15–24.

This February, awareness is being raised during STI & Condom Week (3–7 Feb) and National HIV Testing Week (9–15 Feb) — a reminder that looking after your sexual health is part of looking after yourself ❤️
Testing is a positive step, not something to be embarrassed about.

Love carefully. Get tested.

💊 Pharmacy First – expert care without needing a GP appointment 💊

Did you know your local pharmacist is a highly trained healthcare professional who can assess, advise and treat a range of common conditions – often without you needing to see a GP?

Through the Pharmacy First service, pharmacists can help with conditions such as earache, sore throat, sinusitis, infected insect bites, UTIs, shingles and more (age criteria apply).

This means faster access to care, expert advice close to home, and helping keep GP appointments free for those who need them most.

Next time you’re unwell, think Pharmacy First 💙

If you’ve been r***d or sexually assaulted, it was not your fault.

Sexual violence is a crime, no matter who committed it or where it happened. You are not alone, and confidential support is available.

You do not have to report to the police to get help. You can access medical care, emotional support, and advice about pregnancy prevention and sexually transmitted infections when you’re ready.

You can also speak to your GP or practice nurse, who can listen, offer support, and help refer you to specialist services such as a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).

If you need urgent help, call 999.
Support is there for you — now or whenever you feel able to reach out.
