Make sure you are seeing a well-trained medical practitioner who is not only thoroughly educated in facial anatomy and techniques for injecting different types of fillers but also able to access prescription medication for filler reversal, skin infection or treatment for severe allergy/anaphylaxis in the rare case that something goes wrong.

Make sure your practitioner is:

Medically qualified
Trained
Insured
Registered with a statutory body
Able to manage complications
But also choose someone who takes the time to really understand you and what you'd like to achieve from treatment to ensure you have the very best outcome.

Medical practitioners have a duty of care to YOU, first and foremost.

I also really like Heliocare 360 Gel Oil-Free SPF 50 which is similar to the synergy one, but slightly heavier.

LED light therapy after our Angel Facial

We quite often treat each other in the clinic which is good fun. It makes us feel good and look good.
This is Jessica Meghan Sönmezsoy having LED light therapy after our Angel Facial. This consists of micro needling with toxin and skin boosting hyaluronic acid lightweight filler.

The botulinum toxin helps to close down pores, reduce oiliness and/or sweating and minimise broken veins.
The hyaluronic acid nourishes the skin and moisturises from the inside.
The microneedling causes controlled damage, (without scarring) which stimulates collagen production.
The red light therapy increases the activity of fibroblasts in producing collagen for healing after the microneedling.
We have three or four of these per year. It’s a fabulous treatment that has so many modes of helping improve your skin.

Like everything else, Aesthetics is constantly changing and new products, machines and treatments are being offered all the time.
I’ve seen a lot come and go and I am very happy with the high quality products that I have used for years. Whilst I occasionally try a new product, I generally go back to my tried and trusted favourites, which give longterm natural outcomes with few problems.

In order to stimulate and maintain nice skin, It’s really helpful to cause micro damage at all levels of the skin regularly throughout the year. One of the ways to do this is a micro needling facial using a bottle delivery system which can be filled with beneficial ingredients such as Botox hyaluronic, acid and antioxidants. I cannot recommend this treatment enough. I think it is one of the most valuable things that we do to stimulate repair and collagen.
