NEW SERVICE WE PROVIDE IF YOU WISH

In the current world, non-attended services (direct cremations) are becoming a service people are opting for on occasions.

Here at Stuart Foster Funeral Services Ltd we are now offering the opportunity for immediate family members to come along to our beautiful ceremony venue, spend up to 1 hour with their loved one gathered around in a closed casket before they head for their cremation. Family can choose up to 3 pieces of music to listen to whilst they are saying their intimate farewell.

We have listened to our families and when the deceased has requested a non-attended service they feel they have not had the opportunity to say goodbye to them so we have designed something to hopefully take that part of grieving pain away.

Family can leave letters, photographs and anything they want with their loved one and those items will travel to the crematorium with their loved one.

You would not have this opportunity with any nationwide companies that you see on television so our advice, as always is, stay local, stay independent it comes to your farewell

Our offices may be closed over the bank holiday weekend to allow our staff to spend time with their families but our hearts and arms to support you are still open.
We vowed that we would be there for our community 365 days, 24 hours a day.

Susan Marron passed away peacefully at home with her Partner, Tim and her very close friends by her side on the 17th March 2026, aged 68 years.

Sue will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service is being held at Yeovil Crematorium on Thursday 16th April 2026 at 2:40pm.

We are now able to provide wake services for up to 60 - 70 mourners at our ceremony venue The Butterfly Rooms in Yeovil 🦋

With stunning sandwich platters, cake and an endless supply of tea and coffee (no alcohol as we do not have a licence)

If you would like and intimate venue to host a beautiful gathering following your loved one’s service please get in touch today.

We are now able to look after your loved one from time of passing, conduct a beautiful service at a crematorium or church of your choice or a stunning service in our ceremony venue and now, from today we are able to host a wake in stunning surroundings within The Butterfly Rooms ❤️
