อาการกล้ามเนื้อ "เป็นแผ่นหนา" ที่เรียกว่า "พังผืด" - มันคืออะไร เกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร และจะรักษายังไง

เนื่องจากมีคนไข้ทั้งถามทั้งมารับการรักษาที่คลินิกเราด้วยอาการนี้ค่อนข้างเยอะมาก ๆ คนไข้มักจะถามว่ามันคืออะไร เกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร และจะรักษาอย่างไร เราเลยถือโอกาส เราเรื่องนี้มาอธิบายให้ฟัง

*** พังผืดหนา ๆ ที่จับเจอที่ "สะบัก" หรือ "หลัง" ภาษาอังกฤษเรียกว่า "Fibrosis" แปลง่าย ๆ ตามที่บางคนเข้าใจ ก็คือ "พังผืด"

ในยามปรกติ ในร่างกายของเราจะมี "พังผืด" เหล่านี้หุ้มอยู่ตามกล้ามเนื้อต่าง ๆ ของร่างกายอยู่แล้ว กล้ามเนื้อมัดไหนใช้เยอะหน่อยก็มี "พังผืด" เกาะอยู่หนาหน่อย มัดไหนใช้น้อยก็หนาน้อยหน่อย

พังผืดเหล่านี้จะจะหนาขึ้นมา ด้วยสาเหตุดังต่อไปนี้

1) ได้รับอุบัติเหตุเฉียบพลันขึ้นที่กล้ามเนื้อ
2) ได้รับการบาดเจ็บเรื้อรังที่กล้ามเนื้อ
3) กล้ามเนื้อถูกใช้งานมากเกินไป

*** ในบรรดาสาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดอาการ "พังผืดหนา" ทั้งหมด หัวข้อที่ท่านควรจะใส่ใจมากที่สุด คือ "ได้รับการบาดเจ็บเรื้อรังที่กล้ามเนื้อ" ยกตัวอย่างอาการทีทำให้เกิดอาการบาดเจ็บเรื้อรังเช่น

- กล้ามเนื้ออักเสบเรื้อรังแล้วไม่ได้รักษาให้ถูกต้อง
- กล้ามเนื้ออักเสบแล้วยังฟื้นใช้งานซ้ำ ๆ
- โดนนวดหยี้หนัก ๆ แรง ๆ มากเกินไป บ่อย ๆ
- และอื่น ๆ ที่ไม่สามารถบอกได้

การรักษาอาการแบบนี้ จำเป็นต้องใช้หัคถการทางการแพทย์แผนไทยอื่น ๆ ที่นอกเหนือจากการนวดกดจุดสัญญาณแบบทั่วไป

*** เพราะ "พังผืดเหล่านี้" บางส่วนอยู่ชั้นลึกแต่อยู่เป็นจุด บางส่วนอยู่กล้ามเนื้อชั้นบนแต่ก่อนบริเวณกว้าง

หากสลายพังผืดเหล่านี้ด้วยวิธีการที่ไม่ถูกต้อง สิ่งที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับตัวคนไข้ที่ถูกนวดคือ

- อาจเกิดอาการอักเสบซ้ำที่พังผืดเดิม ทำให้หนาตัวขึ้นมาอีก
- เมือเกิดอาการอักเสบซ้ำ อาจทำให้เป็นไข้ขึ้นมา ที่เรียกกันว่า "ไข้เส้น"
