The second fantastic manual handling course completed today for Biocair. A theoretical and practical course conducted under Covid guidelines and company policy. Great individuals with a vast amount of experience and knowledge, never to old to learn hey Kev!!

Another successful EFAW course run for BID Huntingdon today. A really great group of enthusiastic and motivated people attending the course and some for the second time.

Starting to get back to some degree of normality. Last week two driver CPC courses followed by a manual handling course for one of my local clients. This week a specialy tailored BLS first aid and people/patient manul handling course for a new client and a manual handling course for staff at the Iconix park.

Just successfully completed this weeks face to face driver CPC and First Aid training. A great week meeting and teaching fantastic people from all walks of life.
Thank you to the course characters you know who you are, you help maintain the fun aspects of training whilst keeping the subjects and instruction on a serious level. Good luck in your future careers!

Two days of training with driver CPC and two first aid courses to finish the week. Testing times trying to convince companies that the environment we establish for face to face training is a safe one, if managed and controlled properly. It's understandable both organisations and their employees are apprehensive. Just grateful to be training!!

Nice to complete several driver CPC face to face training courses at Novadata Braintree over the last two months. As well as two EFAW courses.
Really positive feedback from all the candidates given the Covid restrictions and controls we have in place. A covid secure training environment that gave reassurance to all who attended. Several fantastic groups of professional drivers attending and a really positive JAUPT inspection and report again.

Both First Safety Training (Cambs) and Novadata offer online training corses for Driver CPC and Safety courses.

It is the employers responsibility to ensure the workplace is safe and secure, for a COVID return to work by it's employees. Organisations must have completed a risk assessment to show this and "full consultation" with employees about the measures to be implemented must have taken place. If an employee raises concerns over the risk assessment, the employer must address these concerns before recommending a return to work. Everyone plays a part in this process.

Finally got to complete two First courses for Cromwell Community College Chatteris. 9 teachers and support staff successfully completing a First Aid at work and Activities First Aid course. This being our second batch of courses completed with full Covid controls in place. Brilliant staff and a great result all round.

After a very rewarding end to 2019 and such a promising start to 2020, things could not have been better for us "Until Lockdown". However, the GOOD NEWS!! We are open for normal business and can resume face to face training again. Albeit with smaller classes and appropriate effective control measures being in place to ensure we protect everyone involved. Companies should still remember their normal safety obligations, considerations and procedures, they haven't gone away just because of Covid. Protect your staff on their return to the workplace.
