"After a successful round of NHS-funded IVF treatment in 2021, we were eager to complete our family. We found Manchester Fertility through a friend’s recommendation and attended their open day in March 2024.

From our very first visit to Manchester Fertility, we felt well supported and welcomed. We felt relaxed and at ease in the environment and with the staff from day one, and they were supportive at every step of the process.

We began our IVF treatment in September, and were so incredibly lucky to receive a positive result in October. We welcomed our beautiful Riley into the world in June. He is so loved by his big sister, Clara, and the whole family.

Words will never be enough to express our gratitude for helping us to become a family of four!"

Today we're delighted to share the arrival of baby Ruaridh!💚

"We started our journey with Manchester Fertility in March 2024, when we attended one of their Open Days. From the moment we walked through the doors, we received a warm and inclusive welcome. We immediately knew this was the place we wanted to receive treatment.

Following discussions with the team, we opted for ICSI with donor s***m. Unfortunately, our first cycle was cancelled due to poor response to stimulation medications. The doses of these were adjusted for the next cycle, which was successful! On the 27th of June 2025, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Ruaridh, into the world.

We will be forever grateful to Manchester Fertility for their exceptional care and support throughout our journey. In particular, we would like to thank Dr Sharon Tay for collecting Sarah’s eggs, the Embryology team for growing and looking after our precious embryos, and lovely Dr Peter Kerecsenyi for transferring the little embryo that stuck!

Also, words cannot express our gratitude to the donor, without whom our perfect bundle would not be possible."

"We attended Manchester Fertility's open day in December 2023. We were finally in a position to start IVF after trying to conceive for over 10 years. From that first visit, we knew it was the right clinic for us; the whole place had a lovely feel, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

We knew it was going to be a challenge and decided the correct treatment for us was ICSI. We had a low chance of success, however after our first egg transfer we fell pregnant! We welcomed Ezra to the world in July 2025. All the medication, surgeries, injections and miles we travelled from County Durham were worth it and we’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

It truly has been a dream come true for us and it’s all down to Manchester Fertility. We could never thank you enough for giving us Ezra, he is perfect."

Meet Dr Kingshuk Majumder, a consultant in Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine and Surgery here at Manchester Fertility 👨‍⚕️

Dr Majumder performs diagnostic laparoscopy and dye testing to assess fertility and specialises in minimally invasive procedures to enhance fertility.

With special interests in endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis, uterine malformations and how these conditions impact fertility, he’s also part of the team at the Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre at St Mary’s Hospital, one of the largest endometriosis referral centres in the UK ✨

With previous roles at St Mary’s Hospital and Wythenshawe Hospital, Dr Tsampras is a member of a range of professional fertility bodies, including the Executive Committee of the British Fertility Society, the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, with numerous widely published scientific research papers.

We’d particularly like to extend a huge thank you to Dr Peter, who performed our final egg collection and embryo transfer - he was just fantastic throughout.

IVF is such a rollercoaster, and we always felt like there was someone at the end of the phone or via the app's chat service if we needed them (which we certainly did at times!).
