📰 “NHS: More doctors and online booking – but is it any easier to see a GP?”

Yes – at Cheadle Medical Practice, it’s easier than ever to see a GP with our new Rapid Health system.

We know many patients worry about the “8am rush” or long waits for appointments. That’s exactly why we introduced Rapid Health.

💻 No more 8am rush – appointment requests can be submitted from 6:00am on Monday right through to 6:30pm on Friday, giving you flexibility to contact us at a time that suits you.

📅 Our current wait time for a routine appointment is 7 days which is much less than the 6 weeks that's quoted in this article!

📞 Prefer to call? You still can.
If online forms aren’t for you, our reception team is here to help – and our average phone wait time is under 3 minutes.

We’ve listened to patient feedback and redesigned our system to make access simpler, fairer, and faster.

At Cheadle Medical Practice, better access isn’t just a headline – it’s happening right here.

🌟 We’ve Listened – Saturday GP Appointments Are Here At The Practice! 🌟

Over the past year, we’ve received a lot of feedback from patients telling us that weekday appointments can be difficult to attend due to work, school, and other commitments. We heard you.

That’s why we have introduced weekly Saturday GP appointments – to make accessing care more convenient and flexible for everyone !

💙 What this means:

• More Convenient Appointments
• Less time taken off work or school
• More appointment availability
• Improved continuity of care with your usual practice

We’re already seeing the positive impact. Patients have told us how much they appreciate the added flexibility and shorter wait times, and your feedback has been incredibly encouraging.

Please be aware that there are road closures in the area surrounding the practice today. Unfortunately, this means some of our staff may be running a little late.

If you are attending an appointment, we kindly ask that you allow a little extra time for your journey and set off slightly earlier where possible.
