Has the cold weather left your eyes feeling dry and irritated?

Dry eyes are a common issue this time of year with a drop in temperature, dry air and increased use of heating making symptoms worse. Here are a few tips to help ease the discomfort:

- Remember to blink and take regular breaks from screens
- Use eye drops recommended by your optometrist to keep your eyes lubricated
- Apply a warm compress to reduce inflammation and gently massage your eyelids
