We have a vacancy for an experienced Optical Assistant, training will be available for the right individual.

You will have the opportunity to work in a truly independent, local opticians as part of a friendly team. We stock an exciting range of bespoke frames and lenses; you will be part of the team dispensing these to our lovely patients.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:15pm with an hour for lunch. No weekends!

1. Take antihistamines – They can help reduce allergy symptoms, including eye irritation.
2. Avoid rubbing your eyes – It can spread the pollen and cause more irritation.
3. Wear sunglasses – Go for oversized or wraparound styles when you’re outdoors to create an extra barrier for your eyes.
4. Wash your face, eyelids, and hands – Give yourself a fresh start when you come indoors to remove any pollen.
