Our residents were treated to an uplifting afternoon, as the amazing Maria came to entertain us. There was singing, dancing, and plenty of smiles all around!

Her energy filled the room and created such a warm, happy atmosphere. Weโ€™re so grateful for moments like these that bring joy, connection, and a little extra sparkle to everyoneโ€™s day. โœจ๐Ÿ’›

Our residents and staff had a wonderful time getting involved in this yearโ€™s BBC Children in Need celebrations. From bright yellow outfits to fun spotty accessories, everyone joined in with enthusiasm and big smiles!

It was a fantastic opportunity to come together, show our support, and spread a little joy throughout the home. A huge thank you to all the staff and residents who took part and helped make the day so special. ๐Ÿ’›

It's hard to believe that this time a week ago, we were getting ready for ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Residents celebrated the occasion by making their own firework pictures. We also did a quiz to test our knowledge of the history of the day and learnt some grizzly historical facts!

Later in the afternoon we watched some firework displays from the comfort and warmth of our armchairs ๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ‡

Everyone has been really getting into the spirit of Halloween with face painting, pumpkin colouring, a spooky quiz and devilishly delicious cake decorating! Even our Halloween hound Bertie has been joining in the fun (no colleagues were harmed, honest!) ๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ‘ป

โœจ Weโ€™ve been celebrating Diwali โ€“ the Festival of Lights โ€“ all this week with a range of colourful and creative activities! ๐Ÿช”๐ŸŒˆ

Harsha, our lovely supervisor, shared some beautiful traditional Henna art with us, between all her own celebration plans.๐Ÿ’–

We also made some delicious sweet treats, as part of the Diwali tradition of giving and enjoying sweets together. ๐Ÿฌ

Earlier in the week, our residents created paper plate Rangoli patterns and decorative lamps, filling our home with light, colour, and joy. ๐ŸŽจโœจ

Itโ€™s been a wonderful week of learning, creativity, and celebration! ๐Ÿ’ซ

Our residents and team came together to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. ๐ŸŽ€

We made some beautiful badges and proudly wore them today to raise awareness - and even held a cupcake sale to raise money for this amazing cause. ๐Ÿง๐Ÿ’ž
