Many of us may have never thought about the concept of Assertiveness before, especially not in the context of mental health. While we don't have much control over the choices and behaviours of other people, we usually have a certain amount of control over our own actions! Asserting ourselves and facing our issues head on can help us to regain and discover some of the self-esteem we may have lost. This can help us to tackle the major obsticals that are preventing us from finding happiness! 🙂
