We had a wonderful afternoon filled with tea, delicious pink cakes, and fantastic live music from the amazing Chris Gordon, who had everyone singing and dancing! 💃🕺

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, staff, and families, we raised an amazing £120 in support of this important cause. 💗

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day so special! 🌸

🪔 Diwali – The Festival of Lights 🌟

We celebrated this special day by decorating our tables with beautiful multi-coloured lights — and they looked absolutely stunning! ✨

Everyone then enjoyed a delicious spread of traditional Indian fare, full of flavour and warmth. It was a joyful afternoon shared with laughter, colour, and community.

Elsie and Norman had a wonderful time attending the Harvest Thanksgiving Service at All Saints Church, Ulting. A special moment for Elsie, Father Derek invited her to ring the church bell, bringing back fond memories of her younger days as a bell ringer. 💒🔔

Meanwhile, Valerie and Beryl enjoyed a delightful afternoon at St Andrew’s Church, where they were treated to a lively “Purple Turtles” Vintage Swing & Blues Concert. 🎷🎺 The music was fantastic, and they even had their photos taken with the band, such fun! The day ended perfectly with homemade cake and a cup of tea. ☕🍰

🎤✨ Eurovision Fun with Frederick Douglas Care Home Entertainment ! ✨🎤
We had a fantastic time with Mark as we took a joyful trip down memory lane, celebrating the Eurovision Song Contest through the years!

From Sandy Shaw to Cliff Richard and Dana, we sang our hearts out while keeping active with spiky light-up balls, flags, fly swats, and even bubbles!🎶

There were lots of laughs, plenty of singing, and a great bit of exercise too. We definitely earned our cuppa afterwards! ☕😄

What a giggle, and a brilliant way to combine music, memories, and movement! 💃🕺

Macmillan Fundraiser at Wickham Care Home 💚

What a wonderful and busy week it’s been at Wickham House! Andy kicked things off with his amazing vocals, setting the tone perfectly. We then hosted a lovely Coffee Morning, with beautifully themed (and absolutely delicious!) cakes made by our lovely friend Kim – thank you, Kim!

We were delighted to welcome Michelle from , who popped in to say thank you and enjoyed a cake with us. To round off the week, Chris Gordon treated us to some of our favourite songs – a fantastic performance that brought so many smiles.

Not only did we have a brilliant time together, but we also raised an incredible £105 for Macmillan Cancer Support . 💚

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, joined in, and supported this amazing cause.☺️
