You won’t have seen this angle of me in a whileeee 🌚🌚

Mainly because I’d been HATING on it tbh…

& nowadays I don’t even see that as a “bad” thing anymore…

Cos that feeling FUELLED me to take the ACTION 🎯

Now 4 months down the line I’m PROVING to myself that the daily actions ARE paying off…

Sometimes you don’t realise how much progress you’re making until you look back (literally lol)

So DON’T ALLOW your mind to tell you “there’s no point” (I genuinely hadn’t seen the full difference until I compared these pics 🤯)

Where could you be in 4 months if you finally stuck to a plan then HEYYYYYYY??!!

Grateful that I’m feeling more like me again 🙏🏼

So I hear you’re training… but NOTHING is changing ???

Firstly → just showing up IS an amazing start 👏🏼 but the results you want WON’T come from winging it

Your progress needs DIRECTION…

& that DOESN’T come from your random workouts or “I’ll just see what I feel like today” vibes

To actually move the needle you need to be:

✓ eating to fuel
✓ progressing your lifts
✓ managing intake vs expenditure properly (not guessing)

Self-reflection has always been a big part of who I am…

…but there comes a point where you can go so deep trying to “understand everything”
that you forget to actually LIVE inside your body…

& the older I get, the more I realise PEACE is the real flex:

peace in your body,
peace in your routine,
peace in your mind.

Bc once you feel grounded in yourself,
you stop needing external validation to PROVE anything.

Cos growth isn’t just mindset…
it’s choosing to back yourself physically AND mentally

The LIMITS we feel are usually just borrowed beliefs from people who settled for less ⚡️

You find out what you’re capable of the moment you choose to trust yourself & take the first step 🤌🏼

Girls I’ve been lifting for nearly 8 years now…

& DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WORK IT TAKES FOR US TO BUILD MUSCLE !!!!! (TLDR: the answer is a lot)

Not only that… but bc I can lowkey grow a beard I’m probably more imposed to putting on muscle due to naturally having higher testosterone (emphasis on NATURALLY btw)

If anything… I’d say I actually have MORE of a feminine shape now tbh?! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

SO LET ME SUM IT UP FOR YOU:

- You’re not gonna become “less feminine” for being STRONG
- & you’re also not gonna get “bulky” - unless that’s your genuine FULL BLOWN intention

The benefits of putting muscle mass on are literally LIFE-CHANGING (I’ll do a post on this)

Me when people say: “maybe just don’t get tooooo big ” ☕️🐸

🔫 “Too much muscle doesn’t look good on girls”
🔫 “I don’t like it when THEY look bulky”
🔫 “It’s just not very feminine though, is it?”

…I do wonder whether they truly believe their unsolicited opinion is going to help me ??????

But I also think:

It’s MY body, I’ll do what I want.
If I want to put the work in to feel stronger & healthier within MY body I bloody willllllll !!!!

& I’ll also be the one laughing when I’m 80 years old with all my strong bones 🤪
