It's always a lovely time with Tappy Toes Chelmsford ! 👯

The residents had a lovely time singing along with nursery rhymes, introducing themselves to the children and flying their colourful flags! 🌈

It's always a pleasure to see how much the residents faces light up around children, whether it reminds them of their own children, grandchildren or even back when they were children - it reminds us that all we can do is enjoy the ride that is life. 🌞 😎

Forever young ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a lovely visit from Nicky and her group of childminders, along with their lovely children! 👶

Nicky runs the brilliant Tuesday Toddler Time at Hatfield Peverel Village Hall every Tuesday morning between 9:30am-11:30am and agreed to come and visit us every other Wednesday! 😍

It's brilliant to see how well the children communicate with our residents and our residents obviously doted on them! We are so looking forward to welcoming them back. 🤗

What do we do during exercises? We RISE to the challenge with Rise Life - Essex ! 😉

One of the most important things to our residents is exercise and keeping their bodies and minds moving. This is exactly what happens when Rise come to visit. They encourage all our residents to get involved, no matter how little the movement is, it's better than nothing! 💪

The residents played indoor hockey, threw their bean bags and won some brilliant trophies. They had such a lovely time and look forward to seeing Rise again soon ❤️

It's never quiet in the Peverel Green Household, but Christmas preparations are extremely loud! ☃️

We have been enjoying the lead up to Christmas, which let's be honest - starts after remembrance day! Some may say "it's too early!" but at least we waited until this week to put the Christmas Tree up...That has to count for something right? 👀

The residents have enjoyed decorating the tree's (and their ears apparently!), making decorations and baking those classic warming treats that remind you of all things Christmas. 🍰

It's Peverel Green's 2nd Christmas and we are so blessed to have such wonderful residents, a brilliant team and all our families. Christmas is a time to be grateful, and Peverel Green certainly has many things to be grateful for. 🎄 🎁

That's exactly what our residents are doing when Rise Life - Essex visit us! The residents thoroughly enjoy their exercises and trophies that are presented by Rise.

It's incredibly important that residents retain their independence and movement, as the saying goes "if you don't use it, you lose it!" 💪

In Honour of we decided to go around and see how many smiling faces we could capture, and we delivered! 😁

World Kindness day reminds us that a little bit of kindness can go a long way, and for our residents living in their twilight years - all they want is laughter, peace and kindness. We certainly strive to deliver those everyday. ❤️

If you let the person behind you with a carton of milk in front of you with your full weeks worth of shopping - or if you wait that extra thirty seconds for an elderly gentleman to walk across the zebra crossing - or if you just thank someone and wish them a good day - you're contributing to world kindness day. Life is costly, but kindness is free. ❤️

It's always a pleasure to see Elaine from Hatfield Peverel Flower Club - she was certainly kept busy with our residents 🌻💐

As a home that boasts woodland surroundings and thrives on it's surrounding nature, we cannot help but bring this little bit of nature indoors! The residents love smelling the flowers, embracing their creative side and chatting amongst each other with a good old fashioned cup of tea! ☕
