Would you like to offer your clients something specifically for them? A bodywork ritual to support ladies in their menopause.

Mian Shenti is a bodywork ritual aimed at your peri menopause, menopause (it’s actually only one day after your last period / when menstruation is ‘paused’ or stopped) and post-menopause clients.

Menopause is a time of transition, the body is changing physiologically. It is not a time for ‘sweaty’ exercise or deep bodywork. The body cannot clear away inflammation caused by both - as the ‘driver’ (oestrogen) is declining. So, what worked in your 20s and 30s may need a radical rethink in this time of change.

Mian Shenti honours this transition, creating a calming re-set and a safe space to regulate and restore.

After 25 years of developing therapists in the classroom, it's time to hand over the training reins to someone new.
It’s been an incredible journey.
Starting at Marconi Social Club in 2001…
Expanding in 2006 to Baddow Park, where we supported over 120 learners with a team of 13…
Growing into additional sites in Baddow Village and a salon on Moulsham Street…
Then in 2015, returning to Moulsham Street with a smaller, more focused provision,
before rising once again (like a true phoenix) to create something really special at Warners Farm.
I can’t begin to count how many hundreds of therapists we’ve supported to start or grow a career or business…
Or how many incredible educators and support staff have been part of that journey.
There is something truly special about watching someone rebuild their confidence, create a new path after raising a family, or step into a version of themselves they didn’t quite believe was possible.
And perhaps one of the proudest moments…seeing therapists we trained go on to become educators themselves, creating their own training organisations and continuing that ripple effect.
Now, it’s time for the next chapter.
We’re not simply closing a business… We’re evolving with the needs and direction of our lives.
And in doing so, we’re opening the door for someone new to step into a ready-made training environment and shape it into their own vision.

As we are closing our physical presence, I thought it might be a nice idea to start a ‘memory book’.

What are your memories of Phoenix, Warners Farm?

I’ll start -

Today, during our cpd, we were talking about previous cpds and how those attending blend very easily into a group, find common ground and feel safe enough to share very personal information.

All those things make learning new skills not such an onerous task and allay any anxiety over the day.

So, thank you all for allowing me to facilitate such a great environment for learning, and sharing your experiences.

It’s been my absolute pleasure.
