New Service at R2R Physiotherapy– Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

We’re delighted to introduce Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) at R2R physiotherapy, delivered by senior occupational therapist and certified Dr Vodder–trained practitioner Áine.

MLD is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, helping to reduce swelling, support immune function, and assist the body in clearing waste.

MLD may help with:
• Oedema management
• Post-surgery swelling & bruising
• Scar improvement
• Pain management
• Improved mobility
• General health & wellbeing

Áine is trained through Dr Vodder Ireland in the original Dr Vodder Method and works as a senior OT within the NHS Burns & Plastic Surgery Service—bringing expert clinical knowledge and a strong focus on supporting return to daily activities.

Now welcoming clients with lymphoedema, pre/post cosmetic surgery needs, or those seeking MLD for overall wellbeing.
