🎉 The Barn is officially open! 🎉

After 8 years of closure and extensive restoration, our stunning Grade II listed building, The Barn, is back!

Now a beautiful multipurpose space and home to our catering partners BaxterStorey. We are thrilled to be serving English breakfast to our amazing colleagues once again.

The Barn will also host a variety of engagement & conference events throughout the year including quarterly all employee briefings and our annual winter market, creating space to connect and celebrate.

A huge thanks to everyone who made this opening day possible. We can’t wait to welcome our colleagues back. Breakfast is served! ☕ 🥓 🍽️

Chelmsford 2024 Work Experience Programme, Now Open!

We are pleased to announce the return of our work experience programme here at Teledyne e2v, Chelmsford. This programme includes a number of one-week, unpaid placements during April, May, June and July 2024 with various teams including: Engineering, Site Services Business Administration, Site Facilities and Health & Safety.

Teledyne e2v was proud to sponsor this year’s Chelmsford Science Festival at Anglia Ruskin University. Some of our staff took part in the family weekend on 21st and 22nd October. It was great to engage with the public, share what we do and experience young people being excited to learn about STEM.

On Friday we celebrated International Women In Engineering Day! 🙌

To encourage the next generation of female engineers, Teledyne e2v Chelmsford invited girls from various local schools years 7-9 for this special occasion. They got to meet our talented female engineers and had a morning of fun-filled activities including:

😎 VR headset
🔬 Looking under a microscope
🏭 Site tour of our facilities
