Ann teaches Flowing Yoga, a style of yoga that helps you feel energised, focused and revitalised. This fun, friendly style of yoga will give you an energy boost and over time will improve your balance and coordination, strengthening your body and increasing resilience. Flowing Yoga explores various physical postures (asanas) that will lengthen and tone muscles, shedding tension and opening the body and heart, leaving you refreshed.

Breathwork (pranayama) and meditation are also included in Flowing Yoga. This will bring you fully into the present moment, calming the nervous system, and restoring your body's natural ability to heal and nurture itself. You can open up to a deeper knowing and wisdom hidden beneath our usual understanding. You’ll feel centered and uplifted, able to appreciate and enjoy all that your life offers.

Ann came to yoga in 2003 with an Ashtanga practice, loving the physical challenge of this style. As life placed different demands on her and her yoga, she reached out to other styles to meet her changing needs. Her teaching is now influenced by a broad range of styles, from invigorating Dynamic Vinyasa Flow to calmer Hatha and restful Yin Yoga. That yoga is much more than just an exercise routine and is endlessly adaptable is what keeps her coming back to the practice.

Ann regularly attends silent meditation retreats, including a month-long session. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the transformative effects that meditation can have, and she also includes meditation techniques in her teaching.

Originally founded in 1995, we remain one of the UK’s leading holistic organisations. We are committed to providing people with the tools, resources and encouragement to inspire happier, healthier and more positive lives.

The educational arm of the organisation was launched in 2014, providing holistic education with professional credibility to a wider audience. As well as developing and running a programme of Quality Endorsed and Accredited courses on a range of subjects, we also provide training for holistic practitioners to help them grow their own businesses and further their professional development.

The Isbourne boasts an impressive programme of distinguished guest speakers from across the UK (and beyond), and a packed schedule of regular classes for all ages and abilities. As a mark of quality all therapists practicing out of our therapy rooms must first be approved through an Affiliation process, and as a result we have a catalogue of over 100 recommended local practitioners offering a vast range of treatments and therapies.

We also offer a variety of services aimed at local businesses, including increasing the effectiveness of internal training and improving the wellbeing of staff. The Isbourne has a thriving outreach programme working with disadvantaged and vulnerable groups within our local community, including Gloucestershire Young Carers and the female prisoners at HMP Eastwood Park.
