An exciting opportunity has become available at Cotswold Riding for the Disabled, based at Cheltenham Racecourse.
◼️ We require a groom/coach.
◼️ Salary depending on experience
◼️ Full time vacancy - Five days a week, 35 - 40 hours to include one weekend day.
◼️ Working alongside our Head Groom, the ideal candidate will need to be passionate about working with our wonderful 14 ponies, and potentially a Para-competition horse. The ability to run a yard and take sole charge at times is essential. You will have experience and be able to carry out all yard duties, field maintenance and school our ponies as and when necessary to a high standard. Working alongside our wonderful volunteers, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to train them and develop their knowledge in horse care. The candidate will have understanding and empathy of people living with a disability. This job role will include some hours of coaching throughout the week. Although experience is desirable in this area, training will be given to the right candidate.
