We constantly encouraging the team to keep up to date. Guidelines are being updated all the time. Recently the Resuscitation Council UK have updated their resuscitation guidelines and you will see this being rolled out in all future courses.
Today the boss and two of our first members to join us, attended an out of hospital ILS qualification , with some colleagues up north. Worth the drive for good quality teaching.

Last night we attended the 7th Brain Hornes Awards with .

🥳Congratulations to this years winners 🥳

This time last year our very own Mr Cotswolds was the worthy recipient.

During the evening he updated the village on some facts which for a volunteer as a Community Responder for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is quite an achievement.

Still today many people do not realise this is a volunteering role.

Last year he signed on for 1500 hours (day and night) and attended just under 250 call outs in areas like Bourton, Stow, Moreton, Chipping Campden, Mickleton, Northleach, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Swindon and just across the borders to Chipping Norton and Bledington. This is not an extensive list. When he first started this role 10 years ago it was for a 3 mile radius from his home here in Upper Rissington. So you can see how things have changed and the pressures faced on the frontline.

Defibrillator.

Inspired by the legacy of Jess Brady, who died tragically from cancer which could have been caught earlier, Jess's Rule is part of our commitment to support GPs to help patients get the right care sooner.

The Battle of Evesham 2026
August 1st-2nd Evesham River Meadows
FREE ENTRY
Over 800 reenactors perform one of the main battles in England's Medieval History. 25 Knights on War Horses, Mass archery demonstrations and a Trebuchet Siege Engine. 150 trade stalls, Beer tent and over 30 food and drink stalls.
