Introducing our new clinic in Elkstone, Cheltenham.

is a health and wellness centre, situated in the heart of the cotswolds, based in a beautiful barn conversion only 10 minutes from the centre of cheltenham with ample onsite parking.
Origin will be offering osteopathy as well as individual treatments including sport therapy, therapeutic and sport massage, shockwave therapy and state-of-the-art recovery facilities including an infrared sauna.

From the 4th April, we will be offering weekday, evening and Saturday morning appointments to help you resolve your pain and injuries.

we offer shockwave to help treat conditions you may be experiencing.
Shockwave therapy is a advanced technology that uses pressure waves known as shock waves to treat musculoskeletal and dermatological conditions.

🔶Shockwave aims to:
🔸Reduce pain
🔸Improve circulation in the treated area which promotes a healing process
🔸reduces chronic inflammation

A minimum of three treatment sessions over a three week period are required when having shockwave treatment, but more sessions may be required. Our trained osteopaths will be able to advise how many sessions will be needed.

We can sometimes be unsure whether to run a hot bath, or grab a pack of peas from the freezer to help with our aches and pains.

🔥Hot Therapy:
▪️ Relieves conditions we have had for 6 weeks or longer.
▪️When inflammation (swelling,redness or increase temperature to the area) isnt visible.
▪️ Aims to loosen stiff joints of muscle tension.
▪️ To relieve muscle spasms.

❄️Cold Therapy:
▪️ To be applied after an injury, up to 24-48hours after.
▪️Used for acute sprains,strains.
▪️Aim to reduce inflammation and swelling to an area.

KINESIO TAPING

What is Kinesio taping? 🤔

It’s a therapeutic taping technique which can be applied in hundreds of ways and has the ability to reduce pain and inflammation, promote post surgical healing, optimise performance, prevent injury and promote good circulation, assisting the bodies natural healing process.

It works on:
- Lymphatic and circulatory system
- Fascia
- Muscles
- Ligaments
- Tendons
- Joints

At Body Dynamics Health, we use Kinesio taping for not only sports injuries, but to also help with posture, injury prevention and rehabilitation.

We would usually advise when to use this treatment in your appointment with us, however you can book specific Kinesio taping sessions online.
