Our staff are highly trained and have extensive experience of learning and physical disabilities, complex needs and a wide range of health conditions. From getting creative with arts and crafts to baking in the kitchen, it was one of those days where everything just clicked. Some of the cookies looked so good you would think they came straight off the shelves!

Would you know what to do in an emergency?

Earlier this week we brought together the people we support and members of our local community for hands on first aid training, giving everyone the chance to learn skills that could genuinely save a life.

There was a real sense of focus in the room, people asking questions, getting involved, and building confidence step by step. It was not just about learning first aid, it was about feeling capable, included, and ready to help when it matters most 💜

This week we held our monthly People We Support forum, giving everyone the chance to share their thoughts, ideas and what matters most to them. Feedback like this helps shape the support and activities we offer, from socialising together to a cheeky Wetherspoons visit.

The session was followed by a disco, a perfect way to end the day together and strike some moves!

With heavy hearts, we share the sad news that Donna passed away in recent weeks.

Donna was so much more than words can capture. She was a cherished part of the Aim Up family, deeply loved and truly valued by everyone who knew her. Her warmth, kindness and presence left a lasting mark, and she will be profoundly missed.

In her memory, some of our community came together to carve a wooden heart. A quiet and thoughtful tribute, made with care, love and reflection, honouring the special place Donna holds in all our hearts.

Our thoughts are with Donna’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.💜

Wrapping up the year the Aim Up way! 🎄✨

From cooking classes, crafts, to parties and silent discos, the last few weeks have created so many special memories. What an amazing year it has been, Merry Christmas and a big thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout it - it's been a great one!
