30+ years of clothes, books, children’s books & clothes, camping ⛺️equipment, sleeping bags, ski-wear🎿 , swim gear, bedding … full of special memories and love ❤️ GONE thanks to .benson.100 you’re a superstar 🤩

After a blip this week with another charity, I am delighted my items have gone to another charity and hopefully go to a good home 🏡.

My wedding dress has gone too 🤍. It feels symbolic👏🏻 releasing old versions of myself. I wore that in July 1992. A whole version of my life packed into fabric and expectation and compromises that no longer fit. I’ve let it go! I can breathe again! ✨ that’s alignment even if it was messy getting there! 🤍

I’m honouring my journey by creating literal and metaphorical space for what’s next and that has taken courage 😢 … transforming what could feel like an ending into a celebration of fresh possibilities and new beginnings 💫🌷.

The old skin no longer fits. I’ve outgrown that timeline. I’m choosing to let go of an identity and replacing it with clarity.

I get to choose what comes with me into this next chapter; not just objects, energy, habits, little rutuals. That’s empowering 👊🏻.

I’m becoming a new version of myself. Creating simplicity. Calm. Mine 🕊️🌙.

Today was a reminder to myself of new space that’s alive with possibility. It’s the next chapter, attunment and my future destiny ✨.

It feels like a sanctuary. Harmony outside the noise. I’m building a home aligned with my sovereignty 💫.

Letting go of the marital furniture and trauma, it’s a ritual. Clearing space.
Choosing simplicity and country life over objects. Curating a life that aligns with my heart and soul.

Expansive, open skies, green fields, forests , rolling hills. My spirit needs the nourishment of nature 🌷.

Yesterday I felt let down and dysregulated due to miscommunication 😳.

We are at the end of a Mercury Retrograde which can often be the most powerful time. It’s a lesson from the universe to slow down 😬.

A lack of communication led to feeling abandoned, angry and powerless 😩.

This resulted in withdrawal and shut down. Feeling frozen. In ‘flight or fight’ mode. Stuck in victim mode 🫣.

The only way to move forward is to regroup and ground yourself. Come back to yourself. Get out of your head. Stop spiraling and catastrophising. Phone a trusted friend 👯‍♀️.

This is why habit stacking and having healthy coping mechanisms is really important. We need foundations and a safety net. Things to fall back on when we become dysregulated as often we don’t know what we need in the moment.

Restless or unable to rest and pause. Prioritize or reflect. But what is the lesson here?! 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Sometimes we need human contact. Love ❤️ and encouragement. A friend who has our back to talk about things through with. Thank you 🤍

Today is a new day. The sun is shining. Moving house is stressful. Things don’t always go according to plan. We experience blips or diversions but it’s not the end of the road. We will get back on track. We will be ok 👌🏽.

New Moons 🌚 are a good time to let go of old patterns and set our intentions. Honour ourselves. I’m reclaiming my divine feminine energy. I no longer wish to be defined by that version of myself.

Time to step into this new chapter as a higher version of myself. I’m excited. It’s time. Let’s do this 🌙🕊️💜🩷

Celebrating all those women today who are living as their authentic selves 💐.

In a society that rewards social-norms and girls who conform, STOP✋ pretending and live a life unapologetically as YOU!! 👊🏻

Since my book 📕release, I have let go of the shame of being different through self-acceptance and self-awareness of my ADHD brain 🧠 and the impulsivity, lack of boundaries, people-pleasing in relationships and this has been deeply healing and increased my self-worth and self-love.

No longer prepared to shrink myself or stay small, to fit into someone else’s world.

Setting new standards and boundaries and recognising other people’s limitations.

Thank you to all those women who come alongside me every day with loving kindness and inspiration … you encourage me to be a ‘higher’ version of myself 😘

I couldn’t do this journey without you my soul buddies! 🩷💫

Yesterday was bitter/sweet clearing out my attic prior to moving house 🏡

I hadn’t anticipated so much raw emotion 🥲. It was a very tricky day. I felt fragile. I was so glad I had a buddy by my side.

Someone focused but equally kind and compassionate 🙏🏻

Amongst all the boxes 📦 I could not believe I found a book that contained a story I had written aged 6 years.

My story won a National Competition and was on exhibited in London. I vividly remember the excitement driving to London with all my family.

On returning to school The Gloucestershire Echo came to my school to interview me about my story. They asked what I wanted to do when I grew up. I wanted to be a journalist.

I was reminded of my roots and love for writing a few years ago which reignited my passion.

Realising my book “A Guide to Dopamine Dating” felt like I was honoring my inner child 👧,

Nature was calling me today into her arms to rest, restore and connect. I needed to touch green 🕊️✨ after all the excitement of being a guest yesterday on Cotswolds Radio

So grateful to all those people who have reciprocated my joy and are sharing the love following the show❤️.

Fire 🔥 meets water 💦 today.

When they come together we can manifest our dreams 💫

I’ve gone down with a nasty 🤧 virus which has taken me off track. Our bodies have a way of making us rest if we don’t tune into them and I’m feeling that need to retreat today. It’s been a very busy few months becoming an international author with my first self-published book📕; Christmas, Podcasts, my Retreat, house hunting …

Self care. Wrap up. Hot drinks and pjs. Chicken soup and ribena.

Nurture my inner child

The world feels heavy and dark at the moment. There’s a lot of shadow being exposed 🤦🏽‍♀️. I’ve felt it this week and particularly last night. It’s very easy to feel overwhelmed and afraid 😳.

So, it’s important we stay grounded and anchored. Some highlights from this week. A night run 🏃 and paint 🎨 your own pottery with my girls. Great fun and brought out my playfulness and creativity ✨

We make the choice of whether to sit in the shadows or embrace the light my friends. We have a choice.

Observe but don’t absorb.

Make choices that support your heart and soul and integrity. That allow you to shine ✨ your light.

Not contract or sit in fear 😧 .

Expand. Encourage. Grow.

That is how we can support one another and the collective in this next chapter.

Next week I am appearing on The Wellbeing Clinic with and and really looking forward to the buzz of being in the studio with these like-minded, wise souls and letting the energy flow and insightful conversations … 💫🤍

Starting the day mindfully …

✨ lighting an incense stick and letting the smell fill the air
✨ lighting a candle 🕯️
✨ creating a table full of pictures of my ‘younger self’ to honour my inner child
✨ smelling my freshly brewed tea & sipping mindfully savoring each mouthful
✨ smelling the pages of my journal before my pen 🖊️ meets the pages
✨ opening my French doors to hear the birdsong 🦅 outside in my garden 🪴

Awakening our senses is particularly important when we have very active minds 🤯. Reminding ourselves to stay in our bodies by connecting to our senses on waking is really helpful 🤍.

I know it’s tricky when you have ADHD as your mind awakens spinning with thoughts as soon as we open our eyes 👀.

I use “Otter AI” 🤖 to offload my thoughts before I get up. It clarifies and summarizes them & provides a to-do-list. This way my mind is calmer and I feel more able to get up and start my day.

I know there is a lot of scepticism regarding AI 🤖 so it’s important to have your settings right and check out end-to-end encryption.

But there are also lots of benefits for ADHDers to having somewhere to process thoughts constructively. As we are verbal processors.

Go gently my friends, it’s a tricky world out there so it’s important to stay grounded and discerning … xx

So grateful to all the women who build me up and come alongside me on my journey ✨.

Recently one of them gave me this beautiful testimonial about my book 📖. I didn’t even realise she had bought a copy 🤭.

Without you this journey would be lonely and feel even tougher. You know who you are 🙏🏻. I cannot mention everyone so here is a sample.

The deepest love story you’ll ever live is with yourself 💜🩷 it’s not some glittery campaign, it’s structural.

It’s how you handle relationships, failure, work, rest, finances. Basically, every decision that requires you to trust your judgement.

It’s steady. Boring. Not fireworks.
