⚠️The NHS has issued an urgent alert over a dangerous new scam where fraudsters impersonate your NHS GP.

⚠️The bogus calls, which will appear on screen as coming from a UK mobile number, tell victims that they must update their GP records or risk being struck off their practice.

⚠️But the unsuspecting target will then be asked to hand over sensitive information - including address, NHS number, or bank details - which will be used to steal their identity and their money.

⚠️Often, the scammers will impersonate a specific GP surgery, luring the victim into a false sense of security.

⚠️Guidance is for anyone who receives a suspicious call is asked to hang up and call the GP surgery back on its listed telephone number.

Tomorrow marks the start of Anti-bullying Week 2025

This years theme is: Power for Good 🦸‍♂️

Anti-Bullying Alliance patron, CBBC and CBeebies star Andy Day will lead celebrity support for the campaign, with his band Andy and the Odd Socks. The band will be releasing a toe-tapping song to mark Odd Socks Day on the first day of Anti-Bullying Week. There’s a serious message behind the fun: let’s pull on odd socks to show we’re ALL unique and different, and let’s be kind to each other and respect each other’s individuality.

For older children, the buzz on social media is an important part of Anti-Bullying Week, and a great opportunity for schools to share how they’ve embraced the anti-bullying message. It’s easy to get involved via and on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X) and Bluesky.

Every year, bullying impacts the lives of countless young people and silence helps it grow. That’s why, this Anti-Bullying Week, we’re empowering young peopl...
