As you start tidying away your Christmas gifts this year, please consider donating any unwanted gifts to my collection in aid of James Hopkins Trust

Each year I collect all those items you’ll never use, eat or drink & donate them to James Hopkins Trust where they will use them to help boost their fundraising

So any item that could be put in an auction, raffle, tombola or help to create hampers would be really appreciated

I deliver all donations at the end of January, so please drop off, or shout if you need anything collected.

The last client has been treated & the studio is tidied up.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my small business this year.

It’s been a strange one for sure.
I never thought I’d be taking time off for Melanoma surgery & then working through a broken elbow ….

But I have, & I’ve appreciated all those who have been flexible with appointments

As always it’s been a year of plenty.
Plenty of celebrations
Plenty of joy
Plenty of happy moments

But also plenty of illness
Plenty of surgery
Plenty of loss & grief

Plenty of tears of joy & sadness

And I thank you all for letting me be part of all of this with you. The good & the bad.

Looking forward to 2026 already.

Christmas is not far away & I’ve just thought to let you all know my closure dates

This year I will be closing at the end of the day on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 & reopening on Friday 2nd January 2026

There are currently no spaces available before Christmas but, as always, I have a wait list in case there are any last minute changes.

Let me know if you need to be on the waitlist & also, if you’re one of the many clients who like to book a regular slot for a whole year, and you haven’t already had that chat, please get in touch asap as there has been an influx of clients rebooking for next year already.

Thank you to everyone who donated, bought items, entered the raffle & generally supported the fundraising for the last few months.

A great total & many items sold & repurposed, which is also at the heart of The Butterfly Garden ethos.

GOR BLIMEY MATE ! The wonderful Gore family (Keith and Sue) ,together with daughter Alison and son in law Antony have been fund raising for us across the Autumn and today have donated monies totalling £2332.48. A fantastic gift thank you all so much.
