✨️ Welcome to Public Hearts festive Defib Advent Calendar Day 7️⃣

💥And it's a special one! Defib No 7️⃣ marked the first publicly accessible defibrillator on Cheltenham high street, and was the first defibrillator to be installed coming out of Covid, thanks to the generosity of Bob Holt OBE, and hard work from David Jones of Evans Jones, Cordell at CCP, Tidal Training Ltd.
and support of Suzanne & C2S. Inspiration comes thanks to my dear friend CHickey, who still has the best laugh ever!
✨️ At the time, none of us could have anticipated the extent and success of the campaign to where we are now. In fact, on Wednesday 10 Dec we will be celebrating this and No 8️⃣ defibs 4th anniversary and it's amazing to think that we've installed over 💯 more defibs in that time as a completely voluntary and not for profit campaign.

Thanks to our Defib Family and everybody's who supports us 🎁

Every year I donate a Christmas cake as a silent auction prize for my daughters' Christmas Fair, and as I basically have free rein I always try and have fun with it!

I always try and include some sort of gravity defuong element - I made this design a few years ago and wanted to re visit it, but update it by adding some working fairy lights (my motto this time of year is "you can never have enough fairy lights") and some brighter colours to make it festive and fun!

Here's hoping it goes for a decent amount of money, as it's such a fabulous school!

We are excited to announce that this years Christmas Raffle will be supporting the Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign CIC, an incredible local initiative dedicated to saving lives.
We recently met with Clare from Tidal Training Direct Ltd, who has carried out truly inspiring work across Cheltenham and the surrounding areas. Through her dedication and community fundraising efforts, Clare has installed an incredible 111 publicly accessible defibrillators, giving our local community vital access to lifesaving equipment whenever it’s needed most.

📶 This is one of Cheltenham's most accessed defibs, most recently at 00.40 this morning at Copa on Regent St Cheltenham. Fortunately not needed.

🌧 Come rain, hail or shine we are out checking, maintaining our defibs so they're rescue ready in the event of a medical emergency.
All 1️⃣1️⃣1️⃣ of them 💚

🎄The festive season is always busy and with 40,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests in the UK every year, each and every defib has the potential to be life-saving and life-changing in those critical moments.
