Wentworth Court Cheltenham's specialist dementia nursing home.

Wentworth Court opened in May 2015 and is the only care home in Cheltenham dedicated to providing dementia nursing care. The experienced and empathetic team offer both long-term residential and nursing care for those who need daily assistance as well as shorter-term respite care. Wentworth Court recognises that every resident has a specific set of individual needs and takes into account each resident’s medical history, as well as their life story, personality, preferences and interests. The attractive home has modern, spacious and light bedrooms, decorated to an extremely high standard and equipped with en-suites. Facilities also include landscaped gardens, a roof terrace, a patisserie café, hairdressing salon, cinema screening space and relaxation and family rooms. The nursing team provides high-quality medical care twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, supported by local partnerships with GPs, opticians, dentists, dieticians, physiotherapists and chiropodists.

The weather may be cold and rainy outside, but inside our Cheltenham dementia care home, it’s bright colours, beautiful flowers, and our lovely residents enjoying each other’s company. 🌸✨It’s the quiet sense of achievement in arranging flowers to bring joy to others that is so special.

Sometimes it’s the simplest pleasures that bring the greatest moments of contentment. A shared laugh, a creative moment, a beautiful bouquet made with care.💐😊

That’s why we take the time to truly get to know each of our residents, their life stories, their likes and dislikes, and most importantly, what brings them comfort and calm. Because when care is personal, moments of happiness and pride happen so naturally.🥰

What better way to celebrate yesterday's National Pizza Day than with our very own homemade pizzas!! With the help of our fabulous Wellbeing Team, this was definitely an Italian twist on how our Wentworth ladies do lunch! 😁

Empowering residents with dementia to feel that sense of purpose and achievement is so powerful! It creates a feeling of independence and meaning and is something we are so passionate about encouraging and inspiring in every day🙌

From making delicious Scottish shortbread to the beautiful reading of the 'Address to the Haggis,' the home was filled with laughter, new friends, and true Scottish spirit and reverie. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The day felt even more special for our proud Scots, Jim and Alex, who loved celebrating the wonderful traditions of Burns Night together!! 💙

A big thank you to the staff and pupils for making our celebration even more special! 😍

✨ Throwback Thursday to last Friday’s Wake & Shake! ✨ Our fabulous wellbeing team hit play on the 80s jukebox, grabbed the pom-poms, and the fun began! 💃🕺
