Thank you for your trust, your support, and the kindness you’ve shown throughout the year. It’s a privilege for both of us to walk alongside you on your wellbeing journey.

For those who celebrate, we hope the season brings warmth, rest, and moments of joy.

Today is a perfect day to get out and walk ☀️ If you only have ten minutes get out into the sun get some fresh air in your lungs and vitamin D on your skin.

If you don’t want to go alone join a group and make friends. Two local groups you could join are “The Wild Wye Walkers” which is lots of fun. It is a mixed group and most walks end with a social in the pub! There is also a gentleman only group called “You’re never alone Chepstow”. This Saturday a walk is planned with another local tintern group walking 6 miles around the Wye (contact David 07922492423 for more info)

The benefits of walking are many. Here are a few: Improve cardiovascular fitness, improve bone and muscle strength, weight management and boost your mood! So what you waiting for grab your 🥾 and go 😊

Today is World Mental Health Day! The theme this year is protecting our mental Health in times of global instability. I am sure this is impacting us all currently.

We offer wellbeing coaching and cognitive behavioral therapy that can help you cope with all aspects of overwhelm, stress, anxiety and depression.

If you are experiencing the feeling of overwhelm with current events here are some tips:

Reduce news and social media time. Reduce phone time, especially mindless scrolling.

Increase rest and exercises that ground you, such as outdoor activities that ease your stress.

Talk with friends and family.

Focus on what you can control. Take small positive actions. This moves you from the feeling of helplessness to achieving your goals and purpose.

Chepstow Massage and Wellbeing got a lovely mention on Thornbury Radio recently — my favourite local station that’s always playing in the background here. Big love to them for supporting small businesses 💛

Also, a personal update: I’ve officially started university! At 51, I’m diving into something new that beautifully complements my passion for wellbeing — studying counselling at the University of South Wales. It’s exciting, a bit nerve-wracking, and totally aligned with the heart of what I do.

This means my availability is extremely limited and responses may be slower than usual. Thank you for your patience and continued support — it means the world 🌿
