I haven't done this for a couple of years, so I am so delighted to once again be hosting a lunchtime:

BEGINNER'S YOGA COURSE!

The details:
> Chepstow Yoga Space
> 5 weeks
> 6th February to 6th March
> Fridays 12pm to 1pm
> £55 pp

You'll be learning the basics of:
Moving
Breathing
Coming into stillness through simple meditations

But this course is not just a tick list of being able to do a downward facing dog and sitting cross legged in meditation (that's not actually important).

This course invites you to experience how you move your spine, your arms, your legs.

How it feels when your breath enters and leaves your body.

Explore different ways that you find moments of stillness to enjoy.

That connect you with who you truly are.

And aligns you with the real you.

We'll explore resting and give it the importance it requires. How it affects our peace of mind, our sleep, our nervous system.

And we'll dip into the yoga philosophies of how to treat ourselves and others to live life with integrity and from the heart.

We start on Friday February 6th, so if you're feeling a nudge, do join us!

Are you ready to start an exciting new adventure into the ancient system and arts of yoga?

Whose teachings have just as much impact today as they did a thousand years ago.

Living life through helpful codes or values.

Moving our body to help lymph, fluids, blood and energy flow.

Breathing better and oxygenating our bodies better and repel disease.

Practising stillness and quietness within, we can calm the mind.

Finding out what thought patterns aren't working for our happiness, and choose more positive ones.

Feeling calmer, lighter and happier.

In this course we'll learn:

- Mindful yoga postures and stretches to bring strength, flexibility and balance in the body so we feel better from head to toe.

- Easy but effective energy techniques that you can use every day and when you need them most.

- Breathing techniques and meditations to calm the mind and oxygenate the body and use anywhere.

- Beautiful relaxations to invite rest and release remaining tensions and create an ease throughout body and mind.

- Simple ways to bring yoga easily into your daily routine to continue to benefit from the practises you've learnt.

Do you want to stretch and move your body tomorrow with Sian Rule Yoga?

After lots of sitting, chatting, games and Christmas films let's stretch and help the body's energy, blood and lymph move.

Let's breathe more deeply; open the lungs and remove stale air and bring in the nourishing, life-force energy or *prana* to restore every cell in the body.

You'll experience a lovely chakra meditation and then, to finish, a deeply nourishing, restful Yoga Nidra.

It's suitable for everyone. It'll be adaptable to be as gentle or as 'stretchy' as you want.

Join Sian Rule Yoga to mark this significant moment in the wheel of the year.

It's a time to pause with some sacred words, guided meditations and gentle movements.

Please bring a journal and a pen.

You'll relax into restorative positions and through a candle meditation.

The end will be a delicious relaxation of Yoga Nidra with koshi chimes.

And some delicious non- alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies.

You'll have such a warm welcome 🙏
