These are at home heat therapy masks for moderate to severe dry eye which have had incredible patient feedback including those with severe ocular surface disease from Sjögren's syndrome .

They have been incredibly popular (hence the nationwide sell out in 2025 🫣) and are now back in stock on our website shop, but in very short supply. Enjoy!

🚀 A new era in dry eye diagnostics

This morning we received and completed training on our new Seinda i-ImmunDx tear biomarker analyser- an exciting step forward in how we diagnose and monitor dry eye disease.

Dry eye isn’t one single condition. Different underlying mechanisms can cause very similar symptoms, which is why advanced testing is so valuable.

With just a tiny tear sample (painlessly captured), this device measures three key biomarkers:

🔬 MMP-9 – a marker of ocular surface inflammation, helping us detect and monitor inflammatory dry eye.

🌿 IgE – a marker of allergy, allowing us to differentiate allergic eye disease from true dry eye, but also treat and monitor this condition more accurately.

🧬 LTA (Lymphotoxin-α)– linked to systemic diseases, immune balance and goblet cell function, giving insight into mucin health and tear film stability- something we have never been able to do before!

📊 An upgrade to our previous testing…

Our previous inflammatory marker testing gave us a positive/negative result. This new technology provides exact numerical values, allowing us to monitor inflammation and treatment response with far greater precision over time.

💡 What this means for patients

By analysing these biomarkers together we can better understand why your eyes look or feel a certain way - helping us create even more personalised and targeted treatment plan.

This advanced biomarker testing is now included in all initial dry eye diagnostic appointments, and is also available for patients on our Plus and Comprehensive Dry Eye Membership plans for ongoing monitoring.

Better diagnostics → better treatment decisions → better outcomes.

New day, new week, and ready for a day of dry eye detective work and treatments 🔍

Today’s lineup includes some ongoing diagnostics with MMP-9 inflammatory marker testing and ScoutPro osmolarity. For this patient, we already know what works as they’ve been attending regularly for sometime, so we’re following up with 15 minutes of the Activa mask (heat & massage mask… think sauna and massage chair for your eyes 😌), followed by IRPL treatment and meibomian gland expression.

This month we:
- Launched a dedicated dry eye window so people know help is available (and what symptoms to watch for)
- ⁠Curated our first every dry eye care kit, complete with a branded bag from
- ⁠Completed 6 Initial diagnostic assements
- ⁠Carried out 58 routine dry eye appointments- including meibomian gland expression, lid exfoliation and personalised routine tweaks
- ⁠Delivered 4 patients IRPL treatments
- ⁠Completed 1 amniotic membrane treatment
- ⁠Performed 8 ZEST treatments
- ⁠Inserted 5 pairs of punctal plugs
- ⁠Hosted our second annual DrEye January Educational Event! It was so popular, and our special guests and goody bags exceeded all expectation!

We’re incredibly proud of everything achieved this January, but this is just the beginning.
