‼️important information ‼️

We have managed to get hold of limited stock of private flu jabs.

If you would like to get hold of one while the stock is available please ring us to book an appointment.

We do have stock of over 65’s NHS flu jabs if you or anyone you know require their flu jab too.

‼️Did you know we offer a delivery service for all customers who need this service for a small cost of only £2!!‼️

With the winter months here if you or anyone you know is struggling to get out or would just like a their prescriptions to be delivered from now on, please feel free to give the pharmacy a call and we can arrange this for you.

Payments can be made to our lovely delivery driver upon prescription delivery.

‼️We are currently experiencing a technology issue meaning we are unable to access our computer system at this current time.

We have got an engineer trying to fix this ASAP for us however this does mean we are unable to process any prescriptions at the moment.

Please only come down to collect prescriptions in the case of an emergency‼️

Please don’t forget to come and get any awaiting prescriptions you have to be collected this week.

This week will be an extremely busy week for the whole team at Bulwark Pharmacy but don’t worry we will still be running business as usual.

All we ask is that you collect prescriptions within a timely manner in order to help us with this transfer period into our new Journey.

As of the 25th of July we will no longer be trading as Avicenna Pharmacy. We will however be trading as M W Phillips Chemists.

Please be assured that business will resume as normal, we will just be operating under a new name.

Can we ask that if you have any prescriptions or owings currently in branch that you try to collect them before the 24th July or as soon as you can so they are not sat on our shelf’s awaiting collection

If you receive a text message to say your prescription is ready. Please can you collect and not delay getting your medication from us to keep things running smoothly.

This is not a panic post for everyone to start ordering their medication before the 25th, please continue to order as normal and only when your prescription is due.

There may be slight disruption in our first week, commencing 28th of July with the changeover, but please be assured that we are planning ahead and working extremely hard to keep this disruption to an absolute minimum.

💊Prescriptions made easier💊

Did you know with out latest computer system you can get a text message as soon as your prescription is made up ready to collect.

This will save you time ringing both the GP surgery and ourselves to check where your prescription is.

We always try to process all prescriptions we receive as soon as we can. With the text message service it will save you a trip to the pharmacy when your prescription isn’t ready.

Pop on or give us a ring and we will be able to add your mobile number to your records to start this process straight away.

🐣Easter is fast approaching🐣

This is a busy period of time within pharmacy. We will be closed on both Good Friday (18th April) and Easter Monday (21st April), so please make sure you have ordered your prescription within enough time for the surgery to send it to us and for us to make it up ready for you to collect😁

Below is the Monmouthshire borough emergency pharmacy opening hours for over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Our staff will be working extremely hard at this busy time to ensure all prescriptions we receive will be ready to collect before the bank holiday.☀️
