Continuous touch is more than a technique, it’s how the body learns it’s safe to soften.

When contact is unbroken and each movement flows into the next, the nervous system doesn’t need to reset or brace.

The body can stay present, supported, and deeply relaxed, allowing tension to melt rather than be worked through.
This is where real rest happens.

Christmas has always felt like something I want to move through quickly, just to get back to “normal.”
The more time I take off work, the harder it feels to return and that scares me, because I truly love what I do.

I hate losing momentum when everything feels aligned and in full swing.

Every Christmas looks different for me, and that’s okay. But this season always invites reflection. I think that’s natural when we’re standing on the edge of a new year.

2025 held breakups and breakthroughs. I stepped into a journey I never imagined I’d take,far outside my comfort zone. I was stripped bare. Everything rose to the surface.

Christmas Eve was my favourite.
I was fully present. Nora and I shared so many firsts,baking cookies, visiting Santa, playing until she decided she was done. She’s growing so fast, asking bigger questions about this magical season, and I quietly wonder if this was the last year she truly believed.

But at the end of it all, Nora is there, taking this journey with me. My firsts. Our firsts. I always remind her that I’m learning alongside her too, and that brings me so much comfort. We’re riding this wild, beautiful journey together.

I’ll keep the magic alive for as long as I can.
