This year, Runnymede Hospital has achieved some incredible milestones. We have worked hard to secure important hospital certifications, maintained our positive rating through our internal staff survey, and continued to receive outstanding feedback on Google and other review platforms.

To mark these achievements, we treated our team to a visit from a churros van! A small way to say thank you for the dedication and hard work that make these achievements possible.

Today is World Pancreatic Cancer Day, a chance to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer.

Mr Neville Menezes, General and HBB Surgeon, shares some key symptoms to look out for. It is important to note that these symptoms can also be caused by other health conditions. However, if you notice any of them, especially more than one, it’s important to speak to your doctor. Getting checked early can make a big difference.

The exact cause of pancreatic cancer isn’t known, but certain factors can increase your risk. These include smoking, using smokeless to***co (like chewing to***co), age, obesity, lack of exercise, diet, and long-term heavy drinking.
