It is always lovely when a family express their gratitude following the funeral of a loved one. We would like to thank the family of Mrs Joan Froome, who wrote us the following poem
(reproduced at the kind permission of the family)

Thank you for the strength you bear,
For showing up with quiet care
In tender hours, pain runs deep,
and still you guide the ones who weep
You speak with kindness, lead with grace,
and help bring peace into that space.
You handle loss with hands so wise,
and meet each tear with patient eyes.
You plan and guide, unseen, unknown
to help us grieve and feel less alone.
You walk through with sorrow day by day,
and help the hurting find their way.
With reverence, you hold each name,
and honor lives with deep acclaim.
It's sacred work, and though it's tough,
you give your heart - It's more than enough.
So Thank You for the care you give,
You help the grieving learn to live

Thank You

As we approach the end of 2025
our dedicated team at Church View wish to take a moment to extend our heartfelt wishes for a happy and peaceful New Year to each and every one of you.

We are deeply grateful to the families who have entrusted us with caring for their loved ones. It has truly been an honour to help you celebrate their lives in such a personal way, and we feel privileged to have been part of your journey during these sensitive times.

As the clock strikes midnight, let us come together to raise a glass in loving memory of those who have gone before us. We will hold them close in our thoughts and hearts.

Thank you for allowing us to support you through life's most difficult moments.

Our Annual Tradition here at Church View is putting up our 'Tree of Remembrance'. This is decorated with handwritten stars adorned with the names of lost loved ones and thoughtful messages
Please accept this as an invitation to call or visit our offices between 9.30am and 4.30pm (Monday - Friday) to add your loved ones name and personal message. All names on The Tree of Remembrance will be recalled at our Annual Service of Remembrance & Reflection, which this year takes place on Thursday 18th December at Chesham Town Hall at 7pm, to which you are invited

Festive refreshments will be served following the service

We understand that the first Christmas without a loved one can be especially hard, but hope that sharing in this event with others experiencing the same emotions will be of comfort and support to you

Grief Awareness Week begins today
As funeral directors, we’re reminded every day that grief has no timetable, no rulebook, and no “right” way to feel. Each person’s journey is unique and every feeling along the way is valid.
This week, we come together to recognise that grief is not something to “get over,” but something we learn to live with. It deserves space, compassion, and understanding.
If you’re grieving, please know:
💚 You are not alone
💚 Your story matters
💚 Support is available, and it’s okay to ask for it
We’re thinking of everyone that might be suffering a loss, no matter how long ago we know it still hurts x

Today we had the absolute honour of taking a young man, with an absolute love of life, (and the colour green) on his final journey in a white hearse as requested and a lime green coffin)
Because everyone is unique
Rest in Peace young Man

Today we had the honour and privilege in arranging the funeral of a local gentleman, with a love of vintage cars. With the support of our friends and colleagues at T Cribb & Sons, we were able to honour his final wishes with the provision of a 1927 Austin Hearse for his final journey
