A lovley review. I really enjoy dysphagia therapy, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with this client and her supportive family.
Many people don't realise SLT's work with eating, drinking & swallowing difficulties. Swallowing is a highly complex machanism and can take up to 50 muscles to initiate!

I am now certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT)
LSVT is a speech treatment for people with Parkinson's Disease, as well as atypical parkinsonisms such as Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). Recent research has also shown promise for those with speech difficulties following stroke and MS.
