Our residents had a wonderful Elf Day filled with creativity, laughter, and festive fun! We started the morning gathered around the table with arts and crafts — from painting to sewing, everyone got involved and let their imagination shine. ✨🎨🧵

We had such a wonderful afternoon yesterday at Kingfisher enjoying bingo with some of our lovely residents! 🧡

🎶✨ A Special Outing This Week! ✨🎶
This week, our lovely resident Elaine enjoyed a wonderful visit to Chestnut Manor Care Home to watch an Elvis performance — her absolute favourite! 💙👑🎤
It has always been a dream of hers to see “Elvis” perform live, and she was overjoyed to experience it. She sang along to every song, smiling from ear to ear, and truly cherished every moment. 💛🎶
The day was made even sweeter with a delicious lunch afterward before heading back home — the perfect ending to a dream-come-true outing. 🍽️😊

💙 Happy International Men’s Day from Kingfisher Nursing Home! 💙
Today we celebrated the amazing men in our community — our residents, staff, and loved ones who fill our home with strength, humour, and wisdom. 👴👨‍⚕️✨
We had a wonderful day baking cupcakes together 🧁👨‍🍳 and finishing with a special presentation of certificates for all the gentlemen in our home to honour their contributions, stories, and the positivity they bring every day. 🎖️💛
The smiles, laughter, and shared moments made it a celebration to remember. Thank you to all the incredible men who make Kingfisher Nursing Home such a warm and joyful place to be. 🌟🏡

Today our wonderful residents spent the afternoon stitching, stuffing, and creating their very own stuffed animals! From colorful fabric choices to the final fluffy touches, everyone poured so much love and creativity into their new cuddly companions.
We love seeing our residents enjoy hands-on activities that spark joy and bring everyone together. 💛

Guess who spent the day being an official happiness ambassador? 🐶💛
Freddie the toy poodle! 🎉✨
To celebrate World Kindness Day and Children in Need, Freddie trotted into Kingfisher Nursing Home wearing his smartest little bow (because kindness is a formal occasion, obviously 😌🎀).
He made his rounds like a true professional—tail wagging at top speed, offering cuddles, posing for fusses, and distributing joy as if it were his superpower. The residents absolutely lit up when he arrived, and Freddie soaked up every second of the attention. 🥰🐾
There were smiles, giggles, and plenty of “Oh, isn’t he adorable!”😄
A huge thank you to Kathy at Therapy Dogs for helping make this wonderful visit happen. 💛🐾
